Cool man. I started hunting that area when I was about Noah’s age, 25-30 years ago with my Dad. Back then the track was hard to follow and we put reflective markers on the trails between the clearings so we could find our way back in the dark. Deer numbers were low, and seeing one on the clearings was a big deal. We did shoot a few there over the years, a couple of nice roaring stags too which are etched into the hunting memory bank. Haven’t been back in there for over 10 years, thanks for the trip back in!
That's awesome! We came across a few reflectors with the head torch! Not sure how old they were but they were there. Looks like Permolat Southland have put in heaps of volunteer time and dollars. Track and hut have had great improvements. Hope ya manage to get back in there again one day. Also stoked you enjoyed the footage and reliving the memories. Thanks for the message, appreciate it.
Great to see the whole family being involved in the great outdoors! Thanks for your vlog!
All good. Thanks for the support cheers
I only have to see the tin opener chained to the bench to know exactly where this is.
That tin opener chain cracked us up! 😆
May it remain for many years to come!@@jbwild
