The beauty of this story is that it reminds me of the fact of how far society has come in regard to this topic! Sexuality is very important to an individual not to those in his or her environment. I have always wondered why it is so important to know what a person does in their bedroom behind closed doors! Sexuality is just as personal as the food and religion he or she chooses to indulge in!
*It's deeply moving to learn about these iconic Black figures who felt they had to hide their true selves due to societal pressures. Their stories remind us of the importance of fostering acceptance and celebrating authenticity. Which story stood out to you the most?*
Why does it matter who was str8 or gay? I mean, after all it's their business what goes on in the confine of their home. I guess it is up to their fans, since we partially pay for their talent. If Still it shouldn't make their fans feel the way we do about them.
I'm finding that many of these channels discussing black lives are owned by whites once again cashing in in blackness but at the same hating it. So hypothetical as always. #SMH
White people aren't making money off of anything that blacks can't do. That's why all of these black celebrities have been showing up making Vlad TV rich for years. Stop blaming everything on white folks when blacks choose to be the consumer instead of the business owner. Way too many first generation foreigners coming over here and doing what they need to do to get rich and wondering why blacks are still out there living in proverty, filling up prisons and strung out on drugs and taking the lives of their own people, including women and children. That's why so many other races have no respect for us. Didn't no white man hold a gun up to any black man's head and tell him to keep having kids he doesn't want to be bothered with and spending his life running from child support while all over social media attacking and ridiculing the black woman for hatred & entertainment sake and glorifying the white woman in their lyrics, music videos and in public more than white men do. Get over yourself, and stop throwing pity parties over something you can control and go do something about it.
James Baldwin that was my uncle Buddy's best friend he would bring them over to my grandmother's house when Baldwin would come in to town pair my Uncle Buddy were very close and I did not realize who he was and I remembered by seeing clips I said I know that man cuz I was only like 8 years old 7 years old and I remember seeing him at my grandmother's house and with my Uncle Buddy and then they would come see my grandmother and then they will go out he was a very nice man I remember speaking to him with my Uncle Buddy when they introduce me this world is not that big after all is it Mr Baldwin always carried himself with glass oh absolutely that is what I remember of him when my Uncle Buddy bring him to the house to meet my grandmother in Newark New Jersey
The tag line says “they hid they were gay until their death”…THEN you list over half a list of OPENLY GAY STARS! 🤬 This clickbait is just plain STUPID! 😤
People who are insecure about themselves and need comfort coming to term with who they really are. Unfortunately they are without talent and have no other way to reach all of humanity THAT way. So they settle for window shopping. They are voyeurs .
Crawford is lying about Whitney Houston . She hoped to make money about this false story . Saying something like that about someone who is dead is also malicious . Because they cannot answer for themselves . Take Whitney Houston out of your list .

NO one was surprised by Queen Latifah. Cleo was really Cleo
The way this video highlighted their hidden lives really opened my eyes. Much respect to these icons for their courage.
Who cares who snores in their face at night, that's their business.

I appreciate how this video addressed the challenges these celebrities faced in silence. They’re heroes in so many ways!
This video was both heartbreaking and inspiring. It’s incredible to see how they shaped their communities despite facing such challenges.
They made their mark. Enough‼️
Billie Holiday was born in Baltimore, Maryland
IM SHOCKED THAT MERV GRIFFIN, JIM NABORS, AND RAYMOND BURR WERE LEFT OFF THE LIST.
They were Republicans. Allegedly.
They were not Black! Duh!
I'm not.
They are white this is about black people
Are they famous Black people? Or did you just bypass the Title of the video?
Little Richard turned away from that life, ...in the end
He was still gay. He was old and not participating!
I had no idea about some of these celebrities. Thanks for shedding light on their stories!
RICHARD AND WHITNEY NOT GAY DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH
you still have no idea because most of this is lies
This content is so important. It’s a reminder of how different times were, and how far we’ve come in terms of acceptance.
Sadly, we having come far enough. Not far enough!
Why are they playing country folk music while showing black people? Too funny😂😂😂😂
🤣
Black people created country music, so why not?
hmmm...i think black ppl created the genre of country music
This video was so powerful and enlightening. It's great to finally learn about the struggles these incredible figures faced.

If that has to be explained to you, maybe you should stay under the rock you live at. You aren't ready for the real world.
None at all. Just prying, leering, wishing to be in the mix. Nose pickers.

Only in America,,! No one else mentioned!😮
Well done on this video! It’s so important to tell these stories and honor their legacies.
This was such an eye-opening video. I never knew about the hardships these Black icons endured, and it really gives them a new layer of respect.

WHAT ABOUT MARLENA DIETRICH?
Nah. Just us. Anything to degrade and disrespect US. Private life is called private for a reason.
That was not a pic of Whitney at 16;20
A truly fascinating video. The secrecy surrounding these legends makes their stories even more complex.
Absolutely mind-blowing! I can’t believe hopart of themselves.w many influential figures had to hide such an important

It easy to a sinner.
May I suggest that you read the book by Whitney’s best friend, Robyn Crawford, about her and Whitney’s relationship?
Why? It's not necessary to focus on anything except the rich legacy she left us.
Why does it matter who was str8 or gay? I mean, after all it's their business what goes on in the confine of their home. I guess it is up to their fans, since we partially pay for their talent. If Still it shouldn't make their fans feel the way we do about them.
Showing respect for these legends does not give you the right to tell their secrets.
Richard Pryor hard to believe. Nell Carter I heard that about her along time ago

Hard to believe all the people were gay. Baldwin yes, but Vandross and some others, you've got to be kidding.
Most of this story is a set up to tarnish the names of the black people. God is the only judge of us all.
😊😊😊😊😊😊
next
You love these videos WHY
Bruno Mars ?

Why are people always so quick to believe in everything they hear about other people but they do not believe in anthing they hear about Almighty God.
There's no credible evidence to show or support a God in existence anywhere in reality.
Because one can be easily observed with a little effort. The other is pure conjecture, and at odds with known truths.
No secrets revealed😊
It doesn't matter, but for me, Whitney Houston was so closeted.
I know that this was Clive Davis and her mother's beliefs.
Not interested this kind of behavior
So, why did you decide to click unto and then comment under the video?
🤷🏾♀️
It is unfortunate that Luther did not get to live out hjs truth
Who cares😮
The country music playing in this video is soooooooooo inappropriate! Lol
I guess these people. have the most views, or most popular. No one else, out side of these people have hidden relationship who is Marlo Brsndo!
The tag line says “they hid they were gay until their death”…THEN you list over half a list of OPENLY GAY STARS! 🤬 This clickbait is just plain STUPID! 😤
