Had the lady not told him she reported him to the police he would have probably stayed at his renting apartment and easily catched when he returned
He was already leaving at the time since he also had some problems with the landlady. (The invested money she told the police about)

This is easy to catch as the scammer is in Singapore. If it is an overseas scammer or syndicate, then you can say goodbye to your money and police won't be able to catch them so easily.
Thank you for making this series. We will always need a few dumb people in to fall for scams so that we know it's a new / existing scam lol 🤣

Actually, it's more frightening to see so many still falling under such scams. Ignorance and greed is the root cause of everything. We need to educate our love ones, especially the older generations. If a deal is too good to be true, that's a red flag

Dear Mediacorp, please launch anti scam campaigns in the form of entertaining videos similar to taking vaccine videos to educate all. If scammers aren't able to trick anyone, this scam industry will not grow. It has been getting so rampant in the past decade or so.
