Yes exactly 😊 there are so many underrated places here, sadly because of social media people usually visit the big names and some of them don't even come close to authentic goan food...

Goa is amazing ...food here specially fish thali at so many places is amazing ..and prices are really affordable if you compare to pune
Yeah the seafood is too good, pune has few options but it won't be as fresh, and yeah the prices are great in Goa.
But sadly many other cuisines in Goa are no way closer to Pune, especially South Indian food, veg food & yeah you won't find the lovely thalis with kala pandhra rassa etc. and obviously misal as well.

Can't stay away from Goa for a long time 😁. Some relatives will be visiting, hopefully we will cover the carnival as well... Sai Prasad was amazing for seafood, on weekends it gets jam packed

Valpoi on this trip is very difficult because I have to visit some more places in the North, will keep that in mind, may be on one of my future trips will surely try to cover..

Kingfish looks quite a big piece
Almost palm size, even chonak peices & prawns were big.. Food was yummy! Worth a try

I don't know why but I have a feeling that this is not original Goan restaurant. Might be a Kanadi or south Indian guy's restaurant. My guess is on the basis of papad and achar served.
I spoke to one of the family members in konkani but yeah they could be settled in Goa since a while, nevertheless food was great
