    When the league MVP has a top 5 defense and loses in the playoffs, we flame the qb, EXCEPT FOR LAMAR. 10 whole points at home, we blame Flowers and Monken.

      no it’s because idiots year after year at the start of each season claim there’s at least 5 qb’s they’d take over Lamar when that’s unequivocally a terrible take considering since 2019 to now Lamar has easily been a top 5 during that time and the only QB’s who are currently more accomplished than a 27 year old Lamar Jackson is Pat mahomes and 40 year old Aaron rodgers

    The answer of “Jared Goff isn’t one of the 5 best quarterbacks, raw skill wise, is the reason the Lions aren’t the best team” doesn’t logically follow.
    I understand the quarterback has a disproportionate amount of value to the team but the question isn’t “do the Lions have the best quarterback”, “do the lions have the MVP”. The best TEAM has to include everyone on the team. You can’t just throw everything else out because they don’t have the “best” quarterback. Because they have the best running back room, their WR room is top 5, they have the best offensive line, they have a top 5 play caller and head coach, they have a top 5 defense and one of the best special teams units in the league.
    I would agree with Nick if everything else I just listed wasn’t true, but it is. And you can’t put zero value on those other positions.

Where he used to be able to escape and make plays he will get caught. All do. He is pushing 30. How many mobile QBs we see past 35 and what they look like. Russell Wilson now. Aaron Rodgers last good season he was 36. Cam Newton, Vick, Steve Young, Randall, McNabb, Elway all done with best stats done around 35. Mahomes needs to make the next 6 straight Super Bowls and win half of them to be on the level of Brady. That is not happening. Brady had a HOF career before 35 and another one after 35. This is bordering on obsession in Regards to Lamar discussion. You are starting to turn into Skip Bayless. so Lamar is not allowed to have a bad game or loose. The Record against the Steelers has more to do with Harbaugh. I guess prime time games are not important. You sound ridiculous.

      Lamar has lost to two of the worst teams in the AFC and couldn’t manage to beat the Steelers after their defense didn’t allow a single TD. Stop with this whining, criticism is fully justified

    What makes Mahomes great is the players around him. everybody forgives that Brady had bad seasons as well.. and the sheets are also only nine and one they’ve lost one game so one game cannot make you a bad player I personally believe other teams are just studying Mahomes better and figuring out his tactics

      Mahomes is superior to say, Tom Brady and not just because of his 4 Super Bowls (i count this Jan as a given) but he has an eidetic memory, and iq of 160, the best arm, quickest release, and can read defenses like no other QB. He adapts, and has the composure and intelligence to do so.

      Great point. Likely a top 5 head coach of all time. Greatest DT in the league. Best kicker. One of the best CBs. Used to having the best TE and a few years ago in Cheetah. Now that Kelce is old and Cheetah is no longer on the team, while they still win (because of the great supporting cast) Mahomes cannot light up the field like he used to.

    9:20 It is NOT 40% chance of a turnover. That’s a turnover every three snaps. Be real. You’re attributing way too much to the turnover bucket of that probability math.

    • @frogsarefalling
      @frogsarefalling 5 дней назад +1

      It's not 40% chance of a turnover every snap, he's saying it's 40% that the drive ends in a turnover or turnover on downs. Which still might be too high but not out of the question.

    • @BOnYTB

      What the guy above me said. TOV or TOV on downs by going for it on 4th down. He said 35% btw not 40%. Also like he said this is obv quick “back of the napkin math,” or else you’d have to bake in the small horrific possibilities such as a pick 6, or a fumble for a TD, etc.
      35% is prolly a bit high but it’s not crazy if you assume they’re going for it on most 4th and short scenarios.

      It’s because he knows Lamar is the biggest true threat to mahomes. He already has 2 MVP’s and his playstyle is so electrifying and different than Mahomes that if Lamar was able to get over the hump and win a super bowl a lot of people would start taking him over Mahomes and Nick can’t stand the thought of that

      @@yozethcanal9877 The Broncos ruined his childhood. Denver owned KC for 3 decades during the Elway years and even after Elway retired. It only got better once Manning retired and Mahomes came along so he's been waiting his whole life for KC to get revenge. Problem is Kelce is washed and Reid will retire soon and Denver got their franchise QB so he's terrified of Sean Payton and Bo Nix bringing Denver back to prominence. Now that Harbaugh is in LA the days of KC going 6-0 in the division are over!

    Humble yourself Nick Wrong… Chiefs want to win it all and be undefeated but Mahomes playing like it was impossible. He is been Bad this year… the defense carried everything just have to make one play in the 4th quarters with the lead every time. I am not impress and he is not the greatest player ever that blasphemy… Andy Reid made him… I have Jerry Rice Tom Brady Lawrence Taylor and many more easy over him… he is not the most accurate and best thrower that Rodgers. Lamar and Josh are more talented than him I am sorry… he is Great I mean great in huge moment thanks to Andy Reid scheme… in superbowl hardman Td was all Andy Reid scheme and also against the niners last year…. Talk like undefeated things mean nothing please it was the only way to him relevant because he is not even top 12 in MVP vote
