Nice job Andrew, 9.6 et in 1/4 mile , you will get 8 second pass when you get your cooling fixed, and keep adjusting on the car for better 60 ft times , no time at all you will be taking flight like a rocket, Congrats.

Nice run. Once you get things dialed in and it hooks and books, I'm thinking low 9s high 8s. I remember coming on board when you guys built that salvage GT and ran 9s before getting kicked out. You've got the fever now. I smell more track time soon to follow.
That is good for a first time out having cooling issues. It's clearly down on power due to it that just shows how much improvement there is to be had and there is alot left in the 60 too. I think the car can go high 8 at mid 150s on a cool day with a good 60. People downplay 9.6 like it's nothing just because there are guys who run 8s and shit on the internet (almost 100% of the time they're driving the no skill required modern autos) they act like mid 9 first time out with heating issues in a full weight manual car is bad. People who say shit like that are just haters period and dont really know wtf they're talking about. Good job.
@@bambam23406 yea man there is tons of room left to improve on the 60 foot and if he can get the cooling issues in check that will make a significant difference. Just don't blame the heat for the slow ET. No reason to make excuses if it's the first time out. That kind of shit isn't fooling guys with any kind of experience if they're being honest. Car looks just about full weight. That's over 4k with driver. The mph isn't off with his driving. How you launch the car and shift also affects the mph. Not trying to beat up on the dude. Has a beautiful car and obviously makes good power. 9.60s wasn't bad first time out but hotter IAT'S wasn't the reason the 60ft wasn't great. It was everything else. You seen the big difference with the change BMR made. I almost laughed myself to death when he went 11.44 @ 145mph and blamed the blower for the bad pass. Had nothing to do with the blower. He was going 31-34mph out the back. That's not a sign of a lot of heat soak. I've been at least 7s with nitrous, blowers and turbos going back many years. This isn't my first time watching a car go down the track. So you can't bs me sorry. To be clear obviously the better the air. The more power the car is going to make. That just wasn't the reason the 60ft wasn't better.
@@waynebollentin989 it is the heat. I know what I am talking about he was having intercooler issues bro it had to have been pulling mad timing because it trapped 148 when his power to weight ratio with over 1100 rwhp like he put on the dyno the car would easily trap over 150 closer to middle 150s so it was down pretty big on power trapping a consistent 148. Its simple math man it just ain't adding up. I would say he was easily down over 100 rwhp from where he dynoed with the same setup maybe more based on the low trap speed. Your over here talking about et which is also effected but that is more about the 60 foot time that has alot or room left to improve also. Trap speed dont lie that is what tells you how fast your car is and how much power you're putting down and that tells us he was down big on power because that 148 is NOT an 1100+ rwhp trap speed for a car weighing what his does with him in it simple math man. These are facts and you can call it excuses or whatever you wanna call it but its facts and it's simple math.
@@midnight347 first I apologize for the long reply. I tried to keep it short. You were cordia,l so I wanted to be respectful and try to get my point across without being a dickhead about. I can do dickhead but only when necessary lol. So yes, I was talking about ET because it's relevant. Although yes, mph is a good reference on what kind of power the vehicle is making but there's other factors in play. That's why you use all the information available to come to a conclusion. So lets talk about some of the known data. From my understanding this car is full weight with just tires. That should put this vehicle over 4000lbs with driver. On one of the passes he went 11.44 @ 145mph. The 8th mph was 111 that's 34mph in the backhalf. You need to explain how you lose mad power from timing being pulled with that kind of gain there. When you have the kind of heat soak your're talking about you won't see that much mph gain from the 1/8 to1/4. That's just not going to happen but right away he blamed the bad pass on the blower. Which was completely false. Also lets say it did pull a lot of timing. It still would have been after the 60ft. So again it wouldn't have anything to do with the 60ft being bad. There's other things that affect mph like how you drive( shift and launch the vehicle) and how the vehicle is setup. Which on some of these passes was the biggest problem by far. Like I said. I'm not saying it didn't have any effect but not near to the extent that's was being claimed here. Anyone with experience would never try and argue picking up 34mph in the backhalf shows heat soak with all available information. If the car is pulling a ton of timing as you put it. You would never see that big of a gain there. I've been building, racing and tuning for a very long time. I starting tuning with gen6 DFI in the 90s bro. I have a very good understanding of cause and effect. I know you need to factor everything into the equation. When a vehicle is bogging and bucking like an actual horse like we seen here. You can't put that mostly on the heat soak. Has nothing to do with it in this case. He picked up 3mph not from making changes in the tune but from more seat time and suspension adjustments. Which is more evidence that there's other factors in play. Also even when you have higher IAT'S. You don't have as much timing being pulled when running E85 vs pump gas or even some race fuels. Let's also remember the tune is a factor too. That's important part of this also. Depending on the tuning some guys won't start pulling timing until after 165 IAT's (I believe he said his were 160 degrees) and that's on pumped 91-93. Then we need to know how much and the rate as the temp continues to go up. Usually on non E85 tunes we don't pull timing until that point. Where with pump gas we may start to pull gradually after 130 IAT'S and as the temp goes up every 20 degrees or so we pull more. The timing doesn't get pulled as aggressively with E85. Obviously how experienced the driver is will also dictate how aggressive the tune is. I can't stress enough how important it is to factor everything. Not just because A happens it's automatically because of B. Specially when other information shows otherwise. Again thanks for the cordial conversation. If you still disagree please feel free to explain why and I'll do my best to better explain my point if possible. Good respectable conversation is how we all learn. Sorry but this is going to be a little bit of a rant. Yes people are going to comment because some of us have been race for decades and been much much faster than this and you can't bs us. I've ran everything from Nitrous, centrifugal, positive displacemen and turbo. So come on, you can't blame the heat soak for the bad times specially in the 60ft when you're running 148mph in a car that's most likely over 4000lbs with driver. The mph isn't why the car doesn't ET well. The car is making enough power from the hit to run very low 9s and run a much better 60ft. Cooler temps isn't going to fix the 60ft. Better suspension setup and launching the car better is. You seen the difference in the adjustment that was made. Those guys at BMR know their shit and make a great product. That's where the biggest improvements will come from in the 60ft. Not saying there's no heat soak but when your running 34mph out the back. It's not as bad as your making it out to be. Obviously cooler is always better but I believe your running E85 and that makes a difference and helps a lot. You never want to worry about heat soak or an intercooler all together. Get some bigger injectors and a fuel pump to keep up and run some M1 lol. No intercooler is ever needed at that point lol.. Good luck bro. Really beautiful car but save the excuses. When you run 11.44 @ 145mph and the first thing you start talking about is heat soak and how the blower isn't doing well. You look like a fool. It's not the blower that's the major problem or the reason the car didn't make a good pass. What's going to happen is you're going to lower the IAT'S and if you don't fix the other issues.(driving mostly but suspension settings too) The car isn't going to ET any better. Like I said the mph isn't off really either unless the car is very light. This car should be about 4000+ with driver. You went 148 and how you launch the car does affect the mph too. Vehicle needs wheel speed or it hurts the mph. Any kind of bogging etc hurts ET. Little spin is better than a dead hook of you can't keep the rpm up in the power range. Ok I've went on and on long enough. Again regardless really beautiful car. Can't say that enough. Ton of potential too. Definitely should be a 8sec car.

It’s definitely moving. Maybe belt slippage? Heat soak does affect it too. And tires, man you need some tires to handle that power. Mid 9’s should be low 9’s as it sits
Andrew if you don't want your VMP blower anymore mail it to me I'll even pay the shipping cost! Lol
Where’s Cody’s Mustang?
Time for a Kenne Bell or Whipple. I would go with KB but I know you are a Whipple guy.
I'd love to see this car run at the Ocala 1/2 mile!!
They don’t hold that event anymore after the accident they had last year I believe
@@ryandyson5398 oh I didn't know! You hate to see tragic accidents like that!
Once you get the cooling issue squared away you'll be running high 8s. Anyway, it's a good start, well done Andrew!
Wheel hop. Now time for some suspension work :)
Gt500 vs the Whipple s550 just for fun ?
Where were the sparks coming from on your first hit at the 2:25 mark? Nevermind. I saw the screw/bolt in hand.
Cody found a bolt on track. Not really sure though
Beast! How’d that spool feel at the track? Much different than your LSD! Btw, car sounds so dang good!!
Andrew runs his sh*t! Let's go💪
So much wheel hop but I feel like with some suspension changes and getting that blower cool and some decent air should be low 9s hopefully
Aye u the man
Add an ice tank maybe?
Any chassis stiffening done yet? Car looks great!
Not yet. We might flex a bit 😂
@@MustangLifestyleTV department of boost has sells some nice stuff for keeping these cool. Im sure you have seen his heat exchanger and monster intercooler pumps.
@@jondinapoli5695 I really need an ice tank setup.
If u can launch it good to get 1.4 60ft.
Car looks fkn awsome,
Bad IC pump. Low flo happened..
Pump is flowing
@@MustangLifestyleTV they are prone to fail. There is a possibility it's moving at low volume. Considering you have a larger intercooler you might need a pump that has a higher flow rate. Just a thought. If not, ice!!
Think its time to look into the Mansbrake, hope you buy it lol (transbrake for manual cars) as shown on itsjusta6 channel. ruclips.net/video/BOLEl8fMM8o/видео.html
But so glad to see this thing on the track, thank you!
Maybe twin turbos in the future???
You have an absolutely bad ass motor build, transmission, and rear end. Why are you screwing around with a punny little street blower. KB 4.9 and done.
He is doing a whipple 3.8. Much better blower.
Are you going to a 3.8 whipple?
😀
@@MustangLifestyleTV my man 🤘
Time for some beadlocks!
I have the alarm set an I’m waiting.
Chop Chop getting er dun Nice 👍😀
Will El Chappo be going up against Cletus's Ruby?
Probably not. Ruby is a 7 second car
@@MustangLifestyleTV I still love El Chapo and think you can get there maybe even race demonology while you're at it haha. I particularly love the episodes with Jordan in them. Big fan of both you guys
Keep up the great work!
@@canadiensfan378 thanks!
That’s cool to see it finally go 9s. So you’re running the stock IC lines, pump and tank on a 1150 wheel car and you think there’s something wrong with the IC? Here’s a link to me doing a log comparison on the street with the same IC as you but I have all -16 braided lines, 7 gal ice tank, EMP pump and a -16 water manifold.

I’m running revision 1 of the the intercooler core. We have reason to believe that the water is not flowing through the entire core. I plan to switch to an ice tank but I believe this core is not working properly
need beadlocks haha gonna help a lot
Gratz brotha! New it was only a matter of time! Ford power🔥💯
Can’t wait
Reaction don’t but spinning tires do lol
Easily 8 second car once dialed completely
Your suspension setup is not working very well
I’m calling 9.3
