You mentioned using your little iron to straighten out the crinkled flowers. I have another tip for you, you can use a flat iron from the thrift store to help iron out the petals and leaves that are creased for storage or from boxes they might have been in.😊

Very cool idea. I have some knitting needles as well as crochet hooks from my mother in law and she taught my daughter how to knit and crochet.
