  • Scorpions have really shaken up the Mechabellum meta. In this video we're gradually learning how to both use and respond to them, the hard way!
Enjoying the background music? It's all from my music channel at / @rekatanmusic

I really appreciate the tactical breakdown, just wanted to ask if you wouldn't mind lowering the volume on the BGM a little bit, it was drowning you out in the early rounds. Keep up the awesome content.

Ah definitely, I botched the audio levels on this one. I think game audio is a bit high as well during combat. It'll be fixed in the next one. I'm glad you still enjoyed it in spite of that!

Great to see more content on this, definitely a new game for me to watch. Your explanations will just take time for me to learn what each unit does. I like your idea of potential watching replays, though if that would require more time on your end watching it back instead of playing (ymmv). However if you do watch replays on your own it would be interesting to see your learning from them.
If talking over the game is harder maybe replays is the way to go?
I think that it is unfair to people watching to upload only wins. What is the point? You definitely learn more from seeing what doesn't work, especially when you are explaining what you are doing while you are doing it.

I think talking during gameplay will come back to me, just takes time to get the skill back. I don't think I'd ever try to commentate during 200+ APM Starcraft again though 🤣
I totally agree about it being unfair to viewers to exclude losses. Seems to be where the wind is blowing these days on RUclips where competitive games are concerned, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that's just not the kind of content I have any interest in creating.
