“What is wrong with all you people?” I love the ending when everyone in the cafe is using utensils to eat a candy bar. It’s like a Twilight Zone episode.
I disagree. Candy bars are delicious. They should be on the menu at every diner...nay, every restaurant in the country. We should aspire to raise the lowly candy bar to such heights previously only known by cakes of cheese and lightly burnt cremes.
Because candy bars aren't seen as a desert. The real surprise is why candy bar companies haven't pushed them as a desert to ensure every food outlet in the country has some in stock like they do with coke.
I applaud Larry & Jerry for these stupendous ideas. 😂 Making a trivial thing into a big thing & then a total mockery of the society that is absolutely hilarious!! 🌟
I heard that when they had more shows to do by season, they hired teams of writers. And Larry David was circling to see what were their ideas, saying "funny", "not funny"... He didn't like any ideas from a team and asked : "do you have anything else?". And one writer said that he saw someone eating a snickers with utensils. He said : THAT, is funny!

Kelly Coffield was good on this show. I remember her on In Living Color. I could see that she and Julia were good together. It would have been nice to have seen her in more episodes.
Thanks for the shout out about Kelly Coffield. I also liked her in "In Living Color". Her "Samantha" Kinison sketch was brilliant. I'm disappointed that I didn't see her in other shows after that one ended.
I've actually done this at home and at Cafe I use to live round the corner from with a snickers and it's not bad plus you're not rushing it scoffing it down, it gives you time to enjoy and relish the taste, silly yes but well I'm a silly person.
pizza can be eaten both ways (I usually prefer without fork, but if I'm eating it in front of strangers I obviously use fork and knife). Sandwiches on the other hand... are meant to be eaten with your bare hands. Seeing someone using fork on them would definitely weird me out
My wife's nephew visited from China. Took him to lunch at Burger-Fi and he proceeded to eat his burger and fries with a knife and fork. I explained to him in America it's customary to eat certain foods with your hands. There are several exceptions however such as soup and mashed potatoes.
Jerry- It's like that Twilight Zone where the guy wakes up and he's the same but everything else is different! George- Which one was that? Jerry- I don't know. They're ALL like that!
The one bit that annoys me about it. He already has a piece on his fork that he cut. But for some reason he pushes is off with his knife and gets another piece. why?
“How do you eat it?... with your hands?” 😂😂😂
I saw someone on the street eating m&m's WITH A SPOON!!
The man's acting is incredible I felt shameful eating it with my hands
One of the best delivered lines in the whole show
Love his delivery, gets me everytime.
I love this commentary on the susceptibility of the collective awareness to stupid and pointless trends
Elaine's tiny bursts of rage are my favorite thing in the world!
@Nripesh Dhungana It's ok, I'm the only one who hates George.
“What is wrong with all you people?” I love the ending when everyone in the cafe is using utensils to eat a candy bar. It’s like a Twilight Zone episode.
M & M's with a spoon....classic. LOL
Have you all gone mad?
@Boopity Boop They were all like that
You are Exactly right......straight out of the twilight zone
@Boopity Boop READ what I wrote....it's LIKE a Twilight Zone episode.
The real question is why everyone in a diner is eating a candy bar at all. Who puts that on the menu? Who ARE these people? What's the deal?!
I disagree. Candy bars are delicious. They should be on the menu at every diner...nay, every restaurant in the country.
We should aspire to raise the lowly candy bar to such heights previously only known by cakes of cheese and lightly burnt cremes.
The eldritch horror of Seinfeld.
That’s the joke
Cheap desert option, I'm surprised more diners don't have it on the menu over putting some store bought muffin or commercial grade frozen cake.
Because candy bars aren't seen as a desert. The real surprise is why candy bar companies haven't pushed them as a desert to ensure every food outlet in the country has some in stock like they do with coke.
it's like George waited all his life for that moment at the meeting.
Yeah just like that jerk store zinger 😂
George acts with class - with the knowledge of using a knife, correctly.

i was doing this before this show aired... i even got ppl who saw me do this to do the same, too, haha

The donut actually makes a lot of sense. They're so messy to try and eat with your hands, especially the glazed ones.
I did this exact same thing in my first big board meeting with the doughnuts they placed on the big plate in front of us. So I got up, left the board room and got a plate and fork and knife and came back and eat it just like George. Took the edge right off.
@Adam Ah well, if you say so.
Or filled donuts I mean we eat cake with a fork no different
I break donuts into 90 degree angles :D
Yeah but it’s not very messy if it’s a plain one. All you need to worry about it is the crumbs
Elaine spread the trend without knowing!
I like how Mr. Morgan flat out says "what the hell are you doing?!"
This is all George's fault.
WhatTheActualMark Mr Pitt actually
Elaine takes the blame here. Without her mentioning it, she doesn't get up in arms at Monk's in the end.
It always is
@@fromthehaven94 nope its neither on Mr Putt or George
Growing up I had to learn the hard way that it's not normal to yell at the general public like Elaine does
Why are they slicing off the ends of their Snickers bars and eating parts from the middle? Is the end considered an inferior cut?
Save the best for last.
How do YOU eat it? Butt first????
The ends of the snickers contains the stab which was attached to the branch before it was harvested. It is less ripe and difficult to chew
It's the nervy, tendony cut, say it's best avoided
It actually has more chocolate
“Look, she’s cuttin’ up an Almond Joy.”
That voice over audio gets me every time. 🤣

Seinfeld and Larry David were just brilliant..
They think of the silliest things to make an episode about. So funny. 😂
Like George deciding on buying a store security guard a rocking chair or recliner
Someone was crying I want to know who it was.haha love Mr.Pitt

One of the funniest Seinfeld episodes.
What going viral looked like before going viral was a thing.

I just caught my mother eating a chocolate muffin on a plate with a knife & fork! I'm sending her this clip.🧁🍽️🤪
Love this episode ❤️
This episode is fucking hilarious.
george is an ingenous social revolutionary
What I aspire to be
Isnt anyone going to mention how bloody BIG that Snickers bar is? They're tiny these days.
They used to have a King Size. Now the "king size" is just two Fun Size in one wrapper.
You've never seen what mine looks like in my house. Like a bloated hot dog.
You can still buy the regular size for $34.95. Problem is not too many stores carry them.
This world has gone mad 🤪 its a mad house I tell you!!!
"What is wrong with all you people ?" hah

I did with a cookie. I wanted to try it after watching this episode again.
George really sold it.
This is like Invasion of the Body Snatchers lol
I've eaten a whopper from Burger King with a knife and fork
George started the trend, never forget that.
There’s a lot of truth to that phenomenon. 🤣
I tried that with a Butterfinger. Didn't work very well.
Butterfinger bars are too rough on my teeth anyway.
😂😂😂
Reminds me when I first went to Chile and first saw people eating sandwiches and pizza with a fork and knife 🙂

I have to eat a burger that way. (Dentures just don't fit like they used to.)
I find it gross to not use a knife and fork or at least a fork with pizza
I actually eat doughnuts with a knife and fork.
Makes me badly want to eat a slab of cherry pie with my hands... in a 5 star restaurant!
3 days ago I ate my soup with a fork. Today I'm still trying to finish it.
I ate soup with chopsticks the other day.
Are you finished yet ?
that's George for ya, eating a snikers with a knife and fork, and ice-cream with his face :))

I eat French toast with my hands
First time I saw the episode, I missed the beginning with Mr. Pitts. Thought that George was the trend-setter.
1:35 Danny Tartabull was a Royal after all.
M & M with a spoon 😂😂😂
Snickers bars were so large back then
1:45 I feel like Elaine looking at everyone wearing masks
Lol its infecting every one
One of the most popular trends: Eating candy bars with utensils 🍴🍫
I bet the next trend would be eating chips with chopsticks
The Pokémon anime had Team Rocket do that once. I have tried to eat Cheetos with chopsticks because of that messy cheese powder.

Is this a sort of product placement?
I listen to this video and others like it before I go to sleep at night.
Are snickers bars that big in America? the rest of the world gets like a quarter of that size! I want the jumbo size!
The size of Snickers bars hit an all time high in the nineties. Now they're only 75% as large as they used to be.
That was the king size. Now the "king size" is actually two smaller bars. And the regular size is smaller than it was back then as well.
