Thank you!! I still love and care for him. He does have narcissistic traits and it is a hard long journey to overcome this and friends and family don’t understand why we can’t just get over it. It’s been almost a year since I decided to disconnect and start working on my healing and getting closer to God. I made the mistake to let him back into my life through out the year but I’ve decided that I can no longer allow him back in if I want to heal. Since making this decision 2 months ago, I’ve been struggling with my emotions about this situation and it’s exhausting. I feel so angry, sad and lonely at times especially cause I have remained single through my healing process. I knew that being with someone new wouldn’t be the way to heal and not to mention fair to the new person. I know I had to go through this to heal from all my past trauma not just my ex. This heartbreak brought me closer to my one true love…God. Getting to know him better has been such an overwhelming abundance of joy and peace. ❤
