This damn pandemic has kept a lot of us Texas road warriors off the backroads over the last 5 months and I am aching to get back out there and Sylvia's is on my list.

I’m Mexican American, when I go to a Mexican grocery store like La azteca a saw white people walking in there, but here , I didn’t see any black customers at the tables. But I don’t think MLK jr died in vain.

Went to Sylvia Mae's today! I ordered takeout for 4 staff at Pizza Hut, Whitehouse, and EVERYBODY loved it! About half hour drive back to Whitehouse, and her soul food was still plenty hot!
Wow she made some fried green tomatoes.She seems like such a down to earth and friendly person.Every single thing in that kitchen that they cooked looked delicious.
Miss Sylvia Mae can make anyones day. You can feel it in the way she presents her food. Just imagine how good it tastes coming from the heart like that. She puts her heart and soul into her soul food dishes.
