Big Teddy got more soul than the train
Bro got soul , he’s got some great covers and originals
"I Can't Make You Love Me" was written by Nashville writers Mike Reid and Allen Shamblin, who were well-noted for their successes in the country music arena. The song was rewritten many times before being finalized, months later. "We wrote, most every week, in Mike's basement," Shamblin told Peter Cooper in an interview with the Nashville Tennessean. "And we'd worked on this song for more than six months. One day, he said, 'Come up to the living room,' where his piano was. He sat down and started playing this melody, and it was one of the most moving pieces of music I'd heard. I mean, it hit me in a hard way ... Instantly, I knew it was the best thing I'd ever been a part of."[4] Reid and Shamblin were both country music songwriters, who according to some accounts originally wrote the song as a fast, bluegrass number. Upon slowing down the tempo considerably, they realized the song gained considerable power and thought about giving the song to one of three artists: Bonnie Raitt, Bette Midler or Linda Ronstadt. Eventually, the song made its way to Bonnie Raitt, who recorded the track for her eleventh studio album, Luck of the Draw (1991). Raitt co-produced the song with Don Was, while Bruce Hornsby provided a piano
Give his cover of someone you loved a listen. It's wonderful
Teddy’s cover of “Idon’twannabeyouanymore” is outstanding. He makes you want to listen to him sing this song more than once.
Thank you for being quiet so he can show us what real singing is all about!!
No one has described this voice this perfectly ..... so so good.
You are so entertaining to watch! Your reactions always crack me up. Keep up the good work!
You should hear Teddy's version of Michael Jackson's "Rock With You".... it's brilliant!!
HIs vibrato is so smooth...
Hard to beat the original, but he's a gamer. Great pipes.
he definitely has an rb vibe, check out his covers of maxwell, and mario.
2:10
LOL...love your rendition of this song. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
More Teddy! Many covers and a couple of his own. Country, pop, rock and r&b. He's great. Over million subs in a year.
Oh hell no. No more ...enough of interrupted is going by a great singer. Review afterwards
Teddy covers Summer Walker (Playing Games), Mario (Let Me Love You), The Weeknd, Khalid, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, Michael Jackson, Billie Eilish, ... and on and on.
He's also got 3 original tracks right now (Night Off, Picky, Broke).

Scribe please please react to Gary Moore live in Montréux 2010 Parisien walkways and I love you forever😍
Love me some Teddy
❤❤❤ S. C.
You might try some 80's rock one album wonder Billy Squire "Everybody Wants You" or the Boss Bruce Springsteen "Thunder Road", or maybe the first speed rap from Micky Dolin of the Monkeys "Goin Down"
I love crazy good voices. Joss Stone is someone you have to check out if you love a really soulful voice. I haven't seen many reactions to her songs, but I think you will be extremely pleasantly surprised. You can start with Joss Stone - Tell Me 'Bout It. She is as good live as she is in the studio.
Joe Bonomassa and Beth Hart I'll take care of you.
We all been there
React to teddy swims make you feel my love
Teddy’s version better than Tank and George Michael...he got vocals
"got that soul, soul, soul, dirty, dirty" Ha-ha, ha
Wayne Toupes Fish out of water you will not be disappointed
Yeah he did Tanks version
This guy's great! But you should check the original version by Bonnie Raitt too!
Check out his Summer Walker cover🔥🔥🔥💯🙏🏽
Can you react to Yebba - My Mind?!
Hi , could you please react to kenton cover
How about some old school
Isley brothers... fight the power
Hahahah you didnt just go to Bone Thugs 🤣
Teddy gets some odd hate too. I think he owes a few people money or something. Dude sings his ass off though.
That was NUT
What drugs are you on ? 😂😂😂
Gotta do the Bonnie raitt original much better Bruce Hornsby on piano!
Shes mean
Once again I fail to see why so many people react to this version. Clearly recency bias is king these days. Bonnie Raitt's version isn't merely better, it's miles better emotionally, production wise, and instrumentally. Will someone please do her version instead of this one?
It comes across different when a man sings compared to a woman...
I'm 57 i call it a tie..
@@troyjordan9721 It comes across different when someone who has lived and loved sings the song. You have to have been through something to really give it meaning...and Bonnie has been through something. For me it's a referee stop contest.
Why would anyone want to hear a Karaoke treatment of a great song?
That seems harsh. He's really good. Obviously the original is tuff to beat.
@@rubbersole79 Then record it live at a Karaoke bar.
