Ever wondered what actually #AI/#ML Researcher/#Engineer 's do? Let me show you a sneak peek of one of the typical workdays. I bet it is very similar at Google, Microsoft, Amazon, DeepMind, Stanford, Berkeley, MIT, and other big research labs (that's how you feed youtube algos with tags, lol). Obviously, what Researchers/Engineers do most of the time is training deep learning models written in PyTorch/TensorFlow, 👉writing research papers👈 and sometimes even reading papers. This one sentence actually contains more info than the whole video.

I tried to change to DS myself, there is not much difference really, better think what you enjoy doing
How many hours do you work?
AI is more of maths or coding? and any of data structure or cp is useful in your job?
Both, really, check my last video, I split it the on two parts - theory (math) and practice (coding). I don't use data structures, but people who write good AI algorithms use them a lot

How much a new ML engineer can get paid? Is there available job for it?
I thought Facebook or some big companies not allow you to put their company name on most channel owned videos.
Just search for "day in the life of software engineer at" there are tons of videos named like that. Anybody can create any video and call it as they want on RUclips, as long as it's not an official video which represent company (this one isn't).

I am very passionate in learning Ai and i love building neural networks.. I love the way it works.
I can't say, I'm not familiar with it really. Probably it depends on the university where you do it. Anyway, in the end the skills you get will matter the most!

Занимаюсь машинным обучением, участвую в олимпиадах по спортивному программированию и учусь на мехмате в МГУ. Не могли бы, пожалуйста, дать совет о конкретных bullet points, которые стоит включить в первое резюме, например, соревнования на Kaggle и тп? Был бы Вам также благодарен, если бы Вы рассказали о своих достижениях и background, которые повлияли на оффер в facebook. Заранее спасибо, с удовольствием смотрю Ваши видео!
Привет. Что включать зависит от твоих собственных достижений. Олимпиады по программированию куда круче чем кагл, они куда более comparative. Ну и конечно если ты хочешь на ресерч, то первое на что будут смотреть это статьи, так что начинай публиковаться уже сейчас, это не так сложно. Можешь найти профа в МГУ или попробовать сам, но без публикаций точно будет тяжело. Про меня можешь почитать на моем сайте acecreamu.github.io , там же есть и резюме. А, ещё ты можешь ездить на стажировки, ресерч и просто, они очень ценятся.
