TUM environmental engineering here. Such an honest video haha. Why Mensa closes at 2 pm is beyond my understanding. It's like TUM'S entire system is designed to demotivate students to study. There is no campus life here. If someone wants to come to campus to study on weekends or in the evenings, god bless them, because it is a ghost town here
feel you 100% brother haha. such a demotivating campus... but you can go to the MI building, it opens everyday until 0.00AM. At least there's a wending machine with sandwiches hahaha
@@PeterSlazy No I'm not calling you out because you called me Lazy. I'm calling you out because of your wordings which somehow implied that international students have no right to talk about improvements in the German education system. Free education does not mean we shut up and accept the flaws because well it was paid by the "taxpayers". The way you said it made your comments xenophobic so instead of calling us lazy , mayne you need some introspection. I bet you wouldn't say a local student to go to other countries when they complain about the system. That is the distinction.
@@dr_greg_mouse4125 unfortunately, this seems to be the standard with most german unis, i went to a much smaller one than TUM and disappointed to hear that TUM is also quite dispapointing since it really is a well known institution I guess :/
Graduated with my degree in math and physics over four years ago but always cool to see what other physics students are up to, especially in different parts of the world. Great video!
Why was this in my recommended 😂 I‘m currently a 10th grader at a Gymnasium in Germany and I‘m actually interested in Physics, like alot. Anyways, great vid bud. Keep it up
the lecture is actually in German. almost every bachelor courses are in German. If you barely understand German, it may be very hard for you to catch up, but it is possible. In the masters degree however, almost every thing is in English :)
hey may i ask u a question pls? i actually am a 12th grade student right now and i'm aiming to complete my "bachelor of science in aerospace engineering" does TUM provides it? pls do reply me, thank you!!
Yes masters are in English, bachelors mostly in German, but you can probably ask the professor if they want to hold the lecture in English. But for me it was not a problem, since I am fluent with both
I have finished by bachelors haha, but I only took the mandatory courses, and I recommend you to do so as well. These courses will cause you enough headache haha. The courses are: algebra, calculus 1-3, experimental physics 1-4, theoretical physics 1-3, chemistry, coding. and in semester you can choose your focus, that is particle and astrophysics, condensed matter, bio physics or applied physics. There are probably more than 4, but the majority of the students will choose these 4
Hi , my name is Anureet Sodhi. I am a student from India , looking forward to come to Germany to study physics !!! And I was looking forward for some information and discovered your page . Could you please give me some info about how did you get into TUM and what's it actually about to study physics and other necessary information.. I'd be highly thankful for your help and guidance
I don’t think so, depends on what you want to do. If you want to work on something related to physics I think it’s fine. But if you just want a degree maybe it’s not a good major
pfft. no floating math equations all around the world as you live as a physic student. major fail. suppose to have numbers for all the formulas of energy used from spot one to spot b and calories intake and conversions. newb.

how did you double major in germany, like you can graduate in one subject and if you did both Physics and Maths from TUM then how pls share??
Danke für das Video! Was ist denn das für ein Raum da bei 04:39, und was tust Du bei 04:42? 🤔

Thanks, glad you want to study physics, more content coming soon! ;)
You taking part in GYPT?
Vielleicht hast Du vorher oder irgendwann mal n Physik-Video geguckt, so wie ich?
Thank you for this video! :)
Hope it helps ;)
The mensa at Arcisstrase closes at 2 pm. Like why??? Lmaoooo. I love your honesty and the video in general.
Yea that’s ridiculous.. but at main campus in the city center there are a lot of restaurants so.. lucky you 🫣
Nice vid! TUMs campus looks incredibly beautiful.🤩
but in real it is not, especially the physic department
your video showed up in my recommendations! I like your video.
Thank you brother 🙌🏻 :)
finally, an honest video
Homie be looking fine! God damn Chi 🤙
Ein Ersti hier! Hoffe du kannst mehr Tipps und Erfahrungen mitteilen!
Klar, ich Versuchs mehr Video davon zu machen ;)
Bro really said: let me show my campus that I don't visit anyway 😂
did you have to learn german to attend the lectures? assuming you choose the English track

Yes TUM does
are only masters in english, and everything else is german (undergrad?) Is it hard to switch languages for concepts?

Are the lectures always so empty? Or was it just that day?
Depends on the course. The mandatory courses are always full. The elective ones not so
what course are you doing, even i am intrested in it

Where y’all studying? 🎉

Münster City 💅😂 Known to have lazy students. However as I'm studying dually I didn't get to enjoy this destiny of having this free time on my hands 😂
Does TUM offer an English bachelor’s program in physics?
unfortuanatelly it does not
