She finalized her divorce to previous husband and got married to Usher within less than a year. Usher is in his late 20’s at the time, she’s in her mid 30’s with 3 kids. I think most moms would be protective and look at it with suspicion. Ultimately the mom wasn’t the reason for the breakup. I’m glad Tameka was able to move on and they are focused on good coparenting.

I’m glad she is speaking her piece. I did appreciate him calling her out like he’s perfect. Even his kids didn’t appreciate him doing that. Kids almost grown and he bullied her with his money. I love him as an artist but he controlled that entire situation and caused that woman pure hell even while she was dealing with her son dying and then Usher almost got her other son killed on his watch…
I lost all respect for him afterwards because he couldn't take care of the kids and never changed a diaper, yet sued her for full custody and won. Then he gave the kids to his mother because he's on tour and on the road. Instead of just leaving them with Tameka and the rest of their siblings in school at the family home.

In regards to why Ushers mom had a problem with is because this started out as a business connection. Tameka was several years (5+) then Usher and she knew that he wasn't ready for a blended family nor marrying an older woman.
If more men would listen to their mothers, they'd stop marrying women they have no business with.
I wrote this comment after Kevin Samuels passed. It is still relevant now.
In some of Kevin’s videos, women come into the conversation with discernible fretfulness.
They would say things such as: ‘I don’t wanna speak over you…’ and would nod frequently as he spoke believing it would impress their host and maybe he would be kind to them and they would leave unscathed.
It rarely happened.
This attitude of appeasement, this feeding of the shark hoping you would not become its dinner only fattened it.
His 15 minutes of viral fame ballooned into 3 odd years as the unofficial king of the manosphere, his status grew and other viral moments inundated countless outlets. Now hopefully, the flood will start to recede and once the grieving tears are wiped away his fans and followers will receive more clarity.
We unwholesomely gravitate towards celebrities, even when their aura glows green with toxicity, even when their channel is an arena and the sport is misogyny. Kevin may have started with noble intentions giving grooming advice to men while making videos from his car but he careened off this path speedily.
Some of his suitable advice to women which was always amalgamated with a lot of scorn and shame can be distilled into: be healthy (lose weight), be submissive, be productive and be approachable (be feminine). All these can be found in Proverbs Chapter 31 for a woman seeking advice within a congenial space.
Also, these nuggets of advice can be given without making your interlocutor feel like their biggest adversary in the world is a bathroom scale.
Power really does unveil personality, even if that power is derived from being the unofficial leader of an unofficial movement existing in non-physical space.
If he has a steadfast legacy it is this: enormous power and an uncanny spell reside in this new-fangled interactive tool called social media. It can have a narcotic effect if it is not used cautiously. And it can produce an addictive rush just like an endless stream of Redbull.
Kevin Samuels was a horrible man and he had no problem tearing down women and belittling them. He said that women are expired after a certain date. I think this type of rhetoric is very dangerous and I think that it is the reason why Miss USA and several other women unalived themselves before they turned 30. God will not be mocked and I think that it is so ironic that Kitten heels died just how he swore up and down black Women would. He died alone and he didn’t have any family with him. According to reports his family found out through social media so it sounds like he was estranged from them. He preached that he was a high value man but he was homeless at times. He was with a woman of another race that was overweight when he passed and how that woman looked if she was a black woman he would have dragged her but he was a colorists so she got a pass. He profited off of throwing rage and hate towards black women, and look what happened to him. People who say they liked Kevin Samuels are no better then the red pill incels. Black people have endured a lot of trauma and each person needs to go through their journey of healing and breaking generational curses. Trying to profit off of hate and rage is a loosing strategy if not financially, spiritually.
