I mean think about it - because of his "Destiny" he as a child was forced to become a soldier... Yeah i know Navi is annoying fairy for player - but for him it was him dream come true... Finally got his own fairy like other Kokiri people.... But he was Hylian not Kokiri, fairy was with him only until Job's done... So he ends up discarded by people he fought for and denied his small dream. What he does? He becomes desperate and goes on a search for Navi - yep I kid you not this is the official story setup for his Journey which ends up with him having a big ol' "Majora's Mask" adventure in Termina city. Going through timeloop after timeloop he ultimately saves Termina... but he is never able to save everyone (seriously you can get veeeery close to it but still will miss a few people due to clashing time-schedules)... This two adventures do a number on Link... He is just never the same. Yes he settles in Hyrule eventually, becomes a knight... But over years already damaged man becomes obsessed with the idea of leaving a worthy successor and even this he never attains and dies... Only to come back as a Staflos, undead warrior, The Hero's Shade... And keep on going on... Until finally his soul is put to rest as he fulfills at least one of his dreams by passing down his skills to Link of "Twilight Princess" era. Seriously being Link is suffering in general but sometimes it gives the guys 2-3 extra Lego bricks to step on.

His sister got kidnapped, his uncle murdered, he got put into a 7 year coma, got stuck in an apocalypse time-loop, turned into a wolf, had multiple best friends kidnapped, got randomly teleported to a different country, stuck in a dream world, had to save the world to keep his job, got turned into a painting, and nearly lost his crush/goddess to the king of all evil. Rolling all that into one, its a surprise the worst thing he got was muteness and a bottomless appetite.

I am imagining a scene with Lincoln just vandalizing someone's house because high school hijinks. The vases will be no more. I also feel like the artist really liked Zee's boots, so made all the characters compliment them, which I found funny.
You're right! That line didn't exist until Laura sent the Zee concept outfits. We all loved that design and the boots in particular were awesome, so I wrote the line with Devi geeking out over them.

Yep, and lets not forget to make sure the the RAW MEAT is at room temperature before you cook it, Too hot and it becomes seared. Too cold and it freezes! Raw meat is VERY susceptible to weather temperatures!
The animation was top tier, the writing was good and the voice acting was ok. The only thing I would really criticize would be the audio mixing and background noise. Either way I am excited to watch more!

This is really great, I played most of the Zelda games, the fact that I saw characters from other games makes me want to see this grow from RUclips to become something bigger and better.
I'm liking the characters so far. The personalities match up really well. I think keeping Link as a mostly silent character was a good choice. Animations are smooth and the number of little Easter eggs hidden in the background are fun to spot.
Me when I noticed at the literal first second of the actual episode that Zee is voiced by Barbara Dunkelman: GOD DAMNIT BARB! Little edit: At least Barb has a mom this time in a show that actually loves her.
And, like link waking up from a century of stasis, the hero returns with some awesome animation! I miss how much we used to get on RUclips and I'm loving this so far!

Just randomly stumbled across this, glad I did! This was great, loved all the ways various references were thrown in, the tongue in cheek humor, and the character development. Fun and unique take on the Zelda mythos, you've done a great job! Will definitely watch for more episodes!
Great animation! I love the voice acting for "Imelda." The idea that bokoblins are just little bugs that get into your house really needs to be explored more. What would octorocks and keese be?

I LOVE all the subtle character slide-ins, like Malon and Saria by the school sign around a minute in or seeing Midna's helmet behind Zee in the auditorium.

I love that the voice of Yang is Zelda in this series. I'm hoping to see Mipha at some point. I'm also hoping for Din from Oracle of Seasons makes and appearance, she was really cute.
