No need to compare Lovebites and Band-Maid, they are both amazing bands but they play two different genres. As for their stage presence, this is the wrong song to judge how much energy Lovebites shows on stage. They move around a lot more on their other tracks. This is also one of their slower and softer songs. Lovebites is a power/thrash metal band whose songs are typically much heavier than this. Check out The Hammer of Wrath next, live. I think they felt that running around on stage didn't fit the mood of this song. This was the "choreography". They can also run in high heels. Especially Midori. :)

I would like to point out that the movement around the stage depends heavily on the type of song they are playing and weather or not running around is even required and while it is true they are wearing high heels they do move around in some songs more than others also LOVEBITES songs are are more on the faster and technical side than band maids music and they are very technical in their own right (also both bands are known to each other hence why fans recommend them to you). Anyways LOVEBITES music is based on the metal genre “British New Wave Heavy Metal” (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Halloween) while also tapping into Thrash Metal like bands such as Metallica, Megadeth and even Slayer.

Welcome to Lovebites, the Wolfpack 🐺 Lovebites fans around the world will be along to give you information and recommendations. Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in a band called Destrose that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Miho is a big fan of Steve Harris, bass player with Iron Maiden and is influenced by his playing style. She left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects. The present members are, Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker. Midori, ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior' Miyako, Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. the 'serious' one with long black hair. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She recently posted a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcibed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman. Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos. Fami, Bass. The 'new girl', recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was about 16. She is the bassist in this video. Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been a member of Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. I saw Lovebites live in London recently, and watched Haruna in awe. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long. All members of the band can play piano/keyboards. They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023. I think for stage energy one of their best lives is LOVEBITES - Raise some Hell (Five of a Kind, 21/02/2020) And it's a damned good song as well. ------ If you wan to go for one of their hardest songs go for LOVEBITES / Set The World On Fire [Live from "Ride For Vengeance Tour 2021"] ------ And if you want to go for the most "ehhhhh?!" song of all, in my opinion. Lovebites - Winds of Transylvania (Heavy Metal Never Dies - Tokyo Dome City Hall 2021) ------ In the second two the dark haired guitarist, Miyako, is quite heavily pregnant so doesn't move around a lot, but she is quite stoic on stage anyway.
Welcomed to the mind-blowing world of Lovebites. These Japanese women are extremely talented, skillful and exceptional musicians. Some people say that they are breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined the band. Miyako (black hair guitarist) is primarily a concert level classical pianist. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just seven years. Their main influences are Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween, Angra, Slayer, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen, Pantera, Dokken, Gary Moore, etc., but they have been developing their own and unique style. Miho (former bassist and founder of the band) once said that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. They toured Asia and Europe in 2018-2019. They toured the UK in 2019 opening for Dragonforce. Miho left the band in August 2021 and Fami was hired in October 2022. They have about 60 songs in their catalog. They just finished their 2024 European tour. This song is kind of a standard metal tune but with an uplifting and positive message. Their concerts last about 2 hours so imagine wearing high heels and trying to move around all the time. moving around on stage: the world's great or rather legends and monsters during live performance hardly move on stage: Al Dimeola, Pat Metheny, Yamandu Costa, Jeff Beck, Tommy Emmanuel, Paco Delucia, Antonio Rey John Mclaughlin....: Why? becos they play sitting down, mostly. And yet they play to a sold out performance concert. And the 50 above age group, the demographic staunch supporters of Lovebites will attest to the fact that Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, Ritchie Blackmore were not ring masters of big cats circus shows, meaning, on stage, they were very private and reserved with deep focus to deliver their best as to the expectations of the paying crowds. Likewise, Lovebites are not the ordinary, everyday musician trying to create organized noise from a concoction of sounds. In heavy metal these ladies command exceptional skills in music theory and applications and Jedi masters in time signature dynamics, a very rare quality currently in this genre, thus denoting excellent compositional and arrangement abilities. In this respect these ladies are very professional, and intellectual in their demeanor and quite similar to those musicians playing sitting down. Music is sound, thus primarily for the ears, and only secondary for the eyes becos the eyes cannot hear, but only to augment appreciation of live music. So movement on stage is not a significant matter and should be low down in the hierarchy of performance criteria of live performances. Its just not about Heels. Give them flats or bare feet, they will be what they are, That's their personality. I doubt that will diminish or discount their credibility and ability as accomplished musicians. This is not trivialization, but perhaps a needed clarification.

LOVEBITES performance is song specific. This song has profound lyrics, to a degree. You don’t prance around when you’re THIS good. Easy mistake to make. Band Maid are not the same kind of band. You have plenty of songs to go before you exhaust the LOVEBITES catalogue, and NONE are mediocre. Good first reaction…a lesson in giving the band time to show you what they can do before jumping in feet first 😂

As you'll now be aware of after reading the comments, they have, in most cases, a lot more movement on stage, sometimes not so much, but the stage presence they have is mesmerising, and a lot has to do with their technical abilities in the way they play and the amazing vocals and movement from Asami. I know that Miyako has a sizable peddle board at her feet which if you use during a song limits your ability to move about. I'm fairly certain Midori and Fami have boards as well. ☺

Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥 Here some information about them: The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have already recorded 4 full length studio albums, in addition some EPs and Singles and a bunch of live albums, available on CD and DVD/Blu-ray. In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band. LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also recently in 2024. With all respect for both bands, Lovebites & Band-maid. It is best to NOT compare the 2 bands together. It's not your fault at all, but there are many people that will only respect 1 band, and sometimes they get upset. Also, there are 40 to 50 bot accounts that go around trying to get the Fans of Japanese-Bands to dislike each other, The person or whatever it is responsible for this mayhem, is very cunning tricky and will seize any opportunity to make people feel upset over perceived animosity. Most of us get along just fine, but I have been in this Japan-fandom long enough to see some of the craziest things you can imagine. If someone were to create 15 fake accounts and used them to harass other bands fans, they can misdirect their emotions toward that other band's fandom and believe that those fans are just crazy and are in some crazy cult, This has already happened, multiple times.

Sadly this is true. The members of both Lovebites and BandMaid know each other and are friends I believe. 3 members of Lovebites were in the audience for BandMaids 10th anniversary concert in Yokohama last year.
This is my favorite band, and they might be yours soon, keep listening to them, they just keep getting more impressive. Try Set The World On Fire live and The Hammer Of Wrath live as just two ideas of where to go next, but all their songs are great, you can't go wrong with these ladies. 🐺🤘

This is my least favorite performance of Rising, so not the best one to check out really - especially for stage presence. whoever told you that Lovebites is similar to band maid doesn't acknowledge the difference in many rock genres that are out there. Lovebites is a welcoming source of metal in various styles while band maid is a pop rock band that I personally don't like and they are more similar to bands like crappy kiss and bogus Mutely Crap (Motely Crue) and as well as X-Japan. a bit of advice lower your mic volume and raise the music volume if it's too loud then your too old.

No need to compare Lovebites and Band-Maid, they are both amazing bands but they play two different genres. As for their stage presence, this is the wrong song to judge how much energy Lovebites shows on stage. They move around a lot more on their other tracks. This is also one of their slower and softer songs. Lovebites is a power/thrash metal band whose songs are typically much heavier than this. Check out The Hammer of Wrath next, live. I would like to point out that the movement around the stage depends heavily on the type of song they are playing and weather or not running around is even required and while it is true they are wearing high heels they do move around in some songs more than others also LOVEBITES songs are are more on the faster and technical side than band maids music and they are very technical in their own right (also both bands are known to each other hence why fans recommend them to you). Anyways LOVEBITES music is based on the metal genre “British New Wave Heavy Metal” (Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Halloween) while also tapping into Thrash Metal like bands such as Metallica, Megadeth and even Slayer.

Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in a band called Destrose that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest and Metallica. Miho is a big fan of Steve Harris, bass player with Iron Maiden and is influenced by his playing style. She left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects.

Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker.
Midori, ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior'
Miyako, Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. the 'serious' one with long black hair. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She recently posted a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcibed and played on piano as though they are classical works. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman.
Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos.
Fami, Bass. The 'new girl', recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was about 16. She is the bassist in this video.
Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been a member of Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. I saw Lovebites live in London recently, and watched Haruna in awe. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long.
All members of the band can play piano/keyboards.
They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023.

Welcomed to the mind-blowing world of Lovebites. These Japanese women are extremely talented, skillful and exceptional musicians. Some people say that they are breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined the band. Miyako (black hair guitarist) is primarily a concert level classical pianist. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just seven years. Their main influences are Metallica, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween, Angra, Slayer, Deep Purple, Yngwie Malmsteen, Pantera, Dokken, Gary Moore, etc., but they have been developing their own and unique style. Miho (former bassist and founder of the band) once said that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. They toured Asia and Europe in 2018-2019. They toured the UK in 2019 opening for Dragonforce. Miho left the band in August 2021 and Fami was hired in October 2022. They have about 60 songs in their catalog. They just finished their 2024 European tour. This song is kind of a standard metal tune but with an uplifting and positive message. Their concerts last about 2 hours so imagine wearing high heels and trying to move around all the time. moving around on stage: the world's great or rather legends and monsters during live performance hardly move on stage: Al Dimeola, Pat Metheny, Yamandu Costa, Jeff Beck, Tommy Emmanuel, Paco Delucia, Antonio Rey John Mclaughlin....: Why? becos they play sitting down, mostly. And yet they play to a sold out performance concert. And the 50 above age group, the demographic staunch supporters of Lovebites will attest to the fact that Jimmy Page, Tony Iommi, Ritchie Blackmore were not ring masters of big cats circus shows, meaning, on stage, they were very private and reserved with deep focus to deliver their best as to the expectations of the paying crowds.
Likewise, Lovebites are not the ordinary, everyday musician trying to create organized noise from a concoction of sounds. In heavy metal these ladies command exceptional skills in music theory and applications and Jedi masters in time signature dynamics, a very rare quality currently in this genre, thus denoting excellent compositional and arrangement abilities. In this respect these ladies are very professional, and intellectual in their demeanor and quite similar to those musicians playing sitting down.
Music is sound, thus primarily for the ears, and only secondary for the eyes becos the eyes cannot hear, but only to augment appreciation of live music. So movement on stage is not a significant matter and should be low down in the hierarchy of performance criteria of live performances.
Its just not about Heels. Give them flats or bare feet, they will be what they are, That's their personality. I doubt that will diminish or discount their credibility and ability as accomplished musicians. This is not trivialization, but perhaps a needed clarification.

LOVEBITES performance is song specific. This song has profound lyrics, to a degree. You don’t prance around when you’re THIS good. Easy mistake to make. Band Maid are not the same kind of band. You have plenty of songs to go before you exhaust the LOVEBITES catalogue, and NONE are mediocre. Good first reaction…a lesson in giving the band time to show you what they can do before jumping in feet first 😂

Here some information about them:
The band was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far LOVEBITES have already recorded 4 full length studio albums, in addition some EPs and Singles and a bunch of live albums, available on CD and DVD/Blu-ray.
In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also recently in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest.
They will be in the US for the first time later this year.
In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“.
A new EP and a live album will be released on august 28.

@@shadzyg wait till you see their song inspired by Halestorm and Lzzy Hale when they were touring they saw them with songs that got the crowd involved so they wrote Raise Some Hell (at one point we see Midori run accross stage as Miyako switches places then later as Miyako walks back we see Miho do a little sprint to another point in the stage. The New song they just released Unchained MV has at one point Miyako the least animated of the group dancing and jumping with Asami.

LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.
The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP".
On 11 June 2018, LOVEBITES won '🏆BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER.
On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full.
"Bloodstack open air 2018(Aug. 10)" also participated.
On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.
LOVEBITES toured the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK from November 13-21, 2018.

LOVEBITES performed as a support band for "Arch Enemy's China tour at the Shanghai show on March 23 and the Beijing show on March 24, 2019".

With all respect for both bands, Lovebites & Band-maid. It is best to NOT compare the 2 bands together. It's not your fault at all, but there are many people that will only respect 1 band, and sometimes they get upset. Also, there are 40 to 50 bot accounts that go around trying to get the Fans of Japanese-Bands to dislike each other, The person or whatever it is responsible for this mayhem, is very cunning tricky and will seize any opportunity to make people feel upset over perceived animosity.
Most of us get along just fine, but I have been in this Japan-fandom long enough to see some of the craziest things you can imagine.
If someone were to create 15 fake accounts and used them to harass other bands fans, they can misdirect their emotions toward that other band's fandom and believe that those fans are just crazy and are in some crazy cult, This has already happened, multiple times.
Oh holy crap that's awful. Yeah the comparison was unintentional I misinterpreted some comments. I'm just trying to discover and spread some music I haven't heard yet but I'm all about kindness and treating people right! Both bands are fantastic in their own ways and yes definitely different from each other 😁

Sadly this is true. The members of both Lovebites and BandMaid know each other and are friends I believe. 3 members of Lovebites were in the audience for BandMaids 10th anniversary concert in Yokohama last year.

This is my favorite band, and they might be yours soon, keep listening to them, they just keep getting more impressive. Try Set The World On Fire live and The Hammer Of Wrath live as just two ideas of where to go next, but all their songs are great, you can't go wrong with these ladies. 🐺🤘

Welcome to Lovebites! Best metal band in the world, imho. Their stage presence is amazing as you get to know them better. This is my least favorite performance of Rising, so not the best one to check out really - especially for stage presence. I recommend you check out more. They're amazing.

whoever told you that Lovebites is similar to band maid doesn't acknowledge the difference in many rock genres that are out there. Lovebites is a welcoming source of metal in various styles while band maid is a pop rock band that I personally don't like and they are more similar to bands like crappy kiss and bogus Mutely Crap (Motely Crue) and as well as X-Japan. a bit of advice lower your mic volume and raise the music volume if it's too loud then your too old.
