No disrespect to the one who came up with that meaning for the song, but that person is wrong 😅
The song is heavily inspired by the Ukranian civilian resistance to the Russian invasion, hence the reference to the sunflowers (look it up, the sunflower lady) and hostile faces. Very dark theme, but very good song with how ominous and creepy it is.
Funny how they have german lyrics in ukraine inspired song, what a coincidence...
That it was about ww2 because cyanide pills was there thing.
