  • The Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet, is the highest palace of Tibetan Buddhism. It was built in the 7th century and was the palace of King Songtsan Gambo. After the fall of the Tubo Dynasty in the 9th century AD, most of the palaces were destroyed by war. Until 1645, the fifth Dalai Lama rebuilt the Potala Palace. Later, the Dalai Lama successively carried out expansions, so the Potala Palace has the scale it is today.
The Potala Palace has a large collection of gold treasures and historical relics. It is a symbol of Tibetan history and Tibetan Buddhism.
    Step into this palace:
Some people saw the light, some people saw the hope
Some people saw all beings equal, and some saw hierarchy
Some saw sin, some saw ignorance
Someone saw history, somebody saw wealth
    What did you see?
This video was shot in an abnormal way, and some of the shots were of poor quality.

Yes, I recall the deities as they appear in your filming. The defenders of the faith, scholars and visionaries. The bright colors, wafting incense and flames dancing reflected in the yak butter. My senses were alive in wonderment … my imagination in awe. Perhaps my one visit in this lifetime will suffice for now……Om mani padme hum ….. one more spin of the prayer wheel 🧘🏽‍♂️🪬🌈🔥🎶

If Tibet was free this would be a living part of culture like Bhutan. Tibet is a culture trapped as a museum/prison by Chinese.

14th Dalai Lama will never be welcomed to return to Tibet, because during his reign period most Tibetans were slaves and endured brutal tortures.
