      It's so bizarre.
I don't know if it happens elsewhere, but in England, people can have completely different accents just being 20 or 30 miles from somewhere else, and I mean COMPLETELY different, like Bristol and Swansea, Liverpool and mid Welsh, London and Northampton...
I can even tell the difference between Sunderland and Newcastle accents, and that's not even 10 miles!!!
Britain's accents are wildly varied, despite the whole of Britain fitting inside califnornia!!

US troops were using night vision since early 1990's and in 2000's it became standard issue. Russians STILL haven't managed that. Small arms technology? The AK FINALLY got to the level of the M4 rifle 30 years later. Did Soviet AK's have lasers? Lights? Standard optics.
Did you have a stroke and forget the F-16? Superior to pretty much any Soviet or Russian jet and it's 50 years old. It was LIGHTYEARS ahead of the MiG 25 and 31. Even today the F-16 has technological upgrades that give it far greater range of detection and countermeasures than any other Russian jet.
Naval? Soviets had ZERO carriers in the 80's. ZERO. The US had 12. The US had far superior submarines.

It's important to remember that the actions of the Nazi's lead to this many deaths over the course of only 6 years. Communist mass-killings and man-made famines started in the early 30's and went on until the early 80's. It's a stretch to say that they were _significantly_ more evil. Even though more people died under communism, more people lived under communism and it existed for a much greater period of time. It's hypocritical that people are allowed to be communists and not allowed to be Nazi's but to say that Nazi's were significantly less bad than communists is a massive stretch.
