Thanks Scooge, I’m tempted to fly fish for them next time, I reckon that would be a hell of a lotta fun! Thanks for nice comments as per usual mate appreciate it

Great video again. A really good session for you, well dond. I am a newcomer to area and fish that mark quite frequently. I have been getting coleys and pollock there but all small so far. Hopefully they will get a better stamp for me soon! Your videos are really informative. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Colin, really appreciate your comments as per usual mate, and yeah, I’m hoping late May to June will start getting the bigger ones in, had some absolute crackers down there mate, 🎣
looks great . i am heading up to Ardgartan week on friday , will have a look in my loft sure i have a couple of telescopic rods , hopefully may get a chuck or two in , Do the mackerel get far up the loch
Hi mate, there should be some mackerel in Loch Long just now, May be a few weeks till they are in numbers however, although if your looking for a bit of diversity you should try some of the rock faces in Arrochar and catch some wrasse and Pollack, absolutely amazing fun and. They put up a great fight 😀
New sub 👍🏻, thank you for passing on information and tips for fishing around these sea lochs I’m going to try and find some time to have a go , looks great sport !! Do you ever blank lol
Hi Andrew this is at the head of Loch Long, it’s a pretty decent area to fish in the right months, however all the rock marks along this part seem to throw up some really nice Pollock, usually at the end of May they seem to start being in numbers for this area
@@theanglingfront coalies will hit surface lures also,no better way to catch fish, very visual, pollock will miss the lure a lot, very surprising with the size of their eyes
Just came across your channel and subscribed 👍 some nice wee Pollock 🎣 your very lucky to be only 5min away from fishing 👍 im 2to 3 hr for decent Pollock marks
New to your channel, definitely a channel to subscribe. Great content and lots of fum for a new to sea fishing guy like me. Do you need a camera man for few sessions to learn more. 😂
Thanks mate really appreciate that, and definitely, I personally would still use 8 Ib breaking strain but that’s just me, I prefer the lightest gear as possible, I like to play the fish on 8 Ib 🤘🏻🎣
This is actually towards Loch Long mate, if your after pollock, or wrasse any deep water marks I’ve fished on Arrochar offer great fishing on lures, and if you have Ragworm your laughing had my biggest Ballan wrasse in loch long on rag
@@theanglingfront thanks for the reply mate, I'm just getting into the lure sea fishing side of things you see, just looking for as much advice as I can get lol, and your videos are brilliant learning platforms 👍
Hi mate it’s a Abu Garcia Devil Rod and yeah I think it’s the same idea, it’s for light rock fishing, and to be honest the rod I use in this video actually broke! Since then I’ve changed to my original HTO Urban Finesse 17 gram rod, I’ve had it for 5 years now and it’s still going strong, defiantly recommend it
Thanks Dean, as always appreciate your comments, I’m tempted lol, looking forward to one of sessions, it will be soon enough mate, it was a shame you couldn’t get out last week, it was an absolute belter for water calmness
@@hesalovelybuoy5944 Hi mate, I had a HTO travel rod that cost me £39 it’s a HTO rockfish 7”6 casts up to 12 grams I caught some lovely pollock on it too the rod comes in 4 pieces so travelling with it was brilliant
@@theanglingfront ive seen that looks great although the ground around here is super rocky and kelpy, and i assume it would be quite hard to cast 10g lures far enough against the wind. it would be great against lrf fishing. do you know of any slightly heavier rods?
