This phone is expensive because it's imported. If an US carrier offers it the price will be lower. And miniaturization costs money and this phone has more radios than many notebooks. Another factor is HTC is a relatively small company compared to Samsung or LG or Nokia. They have to pay higher price on components as well.
I had the original T-Mobile MDA, which was a early PPC device from HTC and then of course I had the touch Pro and the touch Pro two from Sprint. man it’s been a long time. I wasn’t even watching RUclips videos back then even though they existed. lol
ever since the LG chocolate came out, and then the Apple iPhone, it became all about the model name recognition. Makes sense to me. It sticks better in your head, and easier to advertise and remember.
yes. i agree with you. i phone had its long stretch of time in which it was better than any casual phone out there.also the blackberry was the favorite phone of all buisnessmen. now HTC took the casual user interface, and the buisness orientation, and combined it into one phone. the TP2. Its user interface, task manager, and just the screen resposiveness is going to put an end to the iphones reign. the only thing i think is better on the iphone are the apps. now the TP2 is the new iphone.
thats what i thought too, but i asked a rep at my telus store and they said theve heard nothing new about it, or when its coming out, they havent even released the htc snap, but they did relese the blackberry tour
How do you think HTC Touch Pro 2 compare to Apple's iPhone and Blackberry? HTC is coming up along with the backing of Microsoft's Windows Mobile. If they can keep it up i see the end for the iPhone and Blackberry is coming in a year or two. Also Verizon Wireless the largest mobile carrier in the US is backing HTC as it directly competes against the iPhone and AT&T. Blackberry and iPhone's reign in the smart phone market is coming to an end real soon...
i dont think AT&T is gonna have it, however verizon, sprint, and tmobile do. personally, i love the verizon the best, because it looks the best. without the contract the phones is $550+ hope that helped
Hello, I will like to know, how I do to deactivate my cellular one since they stole it from me. Have I the small box and everything, who would have to do for desactivate the cel?
Back when HTC was truly on top of its game
The T-Mobile version will be out on the 12th. We will have some coverage. AT&T has not announced it.
The text message speed is about the same speed as on the Sidekick in our tests.
Currently there isn't no US carrier who is offering this yet. This is an unlocked version from HTC directly.
i love your video reviews they are very in depth i look forward to your next one
Looking forward to getting this on T-Mobile! Another great review Lisa!
