Drag Strip Action in Texas

Somewhere in Texas sometime in the late 1960s people and cars came together and made a lot of noise and had a lot of fun.
I came across this 8mm movie on eBay in a bunch of travel movies and thought it was pretty good. Notable is the presence of the "The Piranha" (www.nhra.com/n...) a dragster built from a model car (as opposed to the other way round where the model was based on an already existing car). The Piranha was supposedly capable of going 200MPH, but not at this track as it seems to have been only on display.

* Insanely chopped Ford Galaxy - maybe a one of a kind car

* "Extinction" - I think its a '36, '37, or '38 Plymouth Sedan Gasser
* Perfectly channeled Model "A" Ford Roadster
* More Corvettes than you can shake a stick at
* "The Rapier" - I think it's a Ford Falcon
