It's almost like her experience in Sorry for Your Loss prepared her for WandaVision. The emotions she's able to convey for a character in grief are incredible.
17:38 It’s great to see just how much Lizzie cares about Wanda as a character and her attributes when she describes herself as being nerdy with Wanda’s whole hand movements, and developing them.

It’s so lovely getting these post-season interviews where they don’t have to beat around the bush being so careful for spoilers. Hearing how passionate they were with the project just adds more value to the show and to everyone involved.
What a beautiful interview!! Most of the things fans speculated about grief, tiny details and scenes is true, so that just reflects their hard work and the love they put into this, hence the huge success of the show! I love Lizzie and Jac!! They are both awesome!
I have just watched the entire series in one sitting and lemme tell you do I have some emotional whiplash 😭😭😭 love the commitment to the small details that Lizzie has and they absolutely do not go unnoticed. What a wonderful cast and great performance it was. Really awesome interview as well; it was great to hear an interviewer be able to delve into the many aspects of the MCU, and you can tell Lizzie and Jac really are passionate about knitting together the whole story. Heres hoping for a continuation of their story maybe in the future!
this was a really refreshing take on a WandaVision interview! so glad to see Jac share more of her point of view, especially together with Elizabeth and to see their dynamic. the atmosphere was very leisurely too and i loved that asked thoughtful questions and let them run with it instead of pressing for details about upcoming projects (the last question and how they handled the answer was super funny imo)
This is such a great interview and I’m so excited for the new doctor strange movie to see what will happen!! I also would love to meet Lizzie and all the other actors that are a part of the mcu because they are fantastic and I love them all so much
23 Emmy nominations later. Marvel finally got massive respect and acclaim fr critics and the industry itself and it's well-deserved! The show was unique and the acting on it just phenomenal. Elizabeth, Paul, and Kathryn were glorious!
Oh to be a fly in the wall of those many many conversations about characters, I love these wonderful interviews where the actors get to talk about their characters freely
There’s gonna be a season two for sure, the show was too much of a hit for them to let it go just like that. I believe though the “second” season is gonna be more about Wanda dealing with the consequences of her actions in doctor strange 2. Maybe more like a noir dark thriller show, her character is the only one who can really explore “horror” and “thriller” and those darker genre
It's been confirmed that there will not be a season 2. It wouldn't really make sense either, since the show is about the Hex & Vision, both of which don't exist anymore
Wait a moment so no more connection between vision and Wanda. I hope that’s not true because I truly liked their relationship and that was what made their characters so intriguing. That relationship made them more authentic. If they are going with her just doing magic then it would be fun to watch her fights but it won’t be intriguing as a character.
Yeah it was odd the way they both dropped the White Vision topic so quickly. Either the interview was cut, or Lizzy didn't want to presume what would be done with his character and as a result them both in the future, or she truly considers Vision as Wanda's past and thinks she has reached a definite closure in terms of their relationship which would be bizarre and disappointing if true, as you said. I mean, hello, the literal body of Vision with the real memories is out there, somewhere, and if Wanda knew this she wouldn't even attempt to restore him into who he was? Really? It was also odd that Vision never addressed this to Wanda in their final scenes either. Just, the whole plot was handled rather bizarrely and they're even talking about it here bizarrely. It's really weird. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks it.
Vision and Wanda literally stated in the finale that they would say, “Hello”, to each other again. I’m certain that Marvel Studios understands how important that relationship is and is keeping White Vision’s whereabouts a secret, for now.
Jac Schaeffer doesn’t read comics. That’s how you know the show wasn’t going to really be based on a bunch of comic book storylines or easter eggs. She wanted to tell a Wanda story that appealed to her.
I definitely think the expectations with Evan Peters were not expected in terms of the multiverse, but I think it's a nice "tease" or send-off for the X-Men universe mutants before they're officially introduced into the MCU. And no, I don't think Evan Peters will play Quicksilver in the MCU
@Parvis we are getting mutants soon though. Kevin Feige confirmed it, and it is common sense considering this next phase is about the Scarlet Witch and and her iconic "no more mutants". They will be introduced, just wait
Wait so from the facts presented, are they not making her a mutant and instead a witch of legend. Because that is a HUGE retcon, like a massive change in the lore. But I'm still interested in where her story in the mcu is going, can't wait for more.
Currently there is no one in the MCU who is called "Mutant" because this word is only used by the Fox universe so far. MCU must introduce their version of the X-Men and then they can explain who is a "mutant" in their universe.
@@thetikimax6508 I'm familiar with the legal proceedings between fox and marvel, although disney has owned fox for about a year now. Love this show. The Evan peters bait and switch was terrible. Brilliant actor under used. If they use him later to make it make sense it'll be cool but if this is the end of Evan peters in the MCU. Then that sucks
Lizzie basically spoiled Doctor Strange 2. She said she didn't know about multiverse until she started to work on it. I know the caption of the movie is Multiverse of Madness but we have been fooled twice, they can fool us a third time. That's would be a lose-lose for them, but I don't doubt about Marvel anymore.
First, don't compare traumas. Second thor is a God who lived 1500+ peaceful years with his family invading other lands. Wanda has been traumatized since she was a child 💀
Except the 5 stages are actually about facing news that you are going to die or are about to lose someone, not about grieving a lost loved one. This is why acceptance has nothing to do with grieving a lost loved one and why so many who lose a loved one falsely feel they must reach this stage. You would go through these stages if you found out that you or a loved one had a terminal illness (the original idea of the 5 stages is based on research into people who are terminally ill). In real life, you cannot be in denial that someone is dead when you know they are dead unless you have some kind of mental break from reality, which is unusual, not typical. Most people reach acceptance at the funeral. Acceptance is the beginning of grieving. If the person died suddenly, the first stage is shock, not denial. Grieving is the process of dissolving the emotional bond, which is a painful process. You cannot even start this process until you have accepted that they are dead. The final stage isn't acceptance or even peace. It's a place where the memory of the person no longer brings pain, but joy. For some, it takes years to reach this stage, especially if the person died tragically. In real life, Wanda would start her grief when she finally accepted that Vision was gone and there was no way to bring him back. The denial and bargaining happened in Endgame when they tried to find another way to remove the stone and then prevent Thanos from taking it. Vision had to talk her through to acceptance in that moment. Centering the show around "the 5 stage" gives a completely false impression of what it means to grieve the loss of a loved one. The end scene doesn't show Wanda sad or crying, which is what would be normal once a person has accepted that their loved one is gone. The emotional bond doesn't dissolve in an instant, like an epiphany, the way they are portraying it in the finale.
