    Attention ! ✍
    Typo @ 09:17 a wrong value of Zpu(T1) was used to calculate Zpu(Total).
    Below are the correct values of currents and Zpu(Total) slightly affected.
    👇👇👇👇
    The correct Zpu(Total) = 5.845 + j2.479 , with => Ipu = 0.1575A can round to Ipu = 0.158A.
    The line current High Voltage Side (primary side) = 0.699A can round to 0.7A.
    The line current Low Voltage Side (secondary side) = 7.493A can round to 7.5A.
    Slight changes in our current calculation which is very important to maintain a reliable system protection

      According to the probelm statement from part 1, Generator per unit will be 1pu.

    07:00 Zb= 2,944
    Why you didn’t get any angle?

    • @CMTEQ
      @CMTEQ  5 месяцев назад

      Hi, thank you for your question. In per unit system the focus is on magnitude values calculation not phase angles. Zb was calculated using the magnitude of the zone voltage and the magnitude of the base MVA with no angles, this is why Zb doesn't have an angle. But this is diffferent when calculating the Actual impedance as we take account of the load angle.

    You have taken incorrect value of Zpu(T1) while calculating Zpu(total). The correct value of Zpu(T1) is j0.106, not j0.06. Thanks

      Thank you @kandarp mehta for pointing it out, you are not the first person to do so, I had a review of the video again, and you are right just like @Rare Talent of India, also pointed it out 3 weeks ago.
      When doing per unit calculation even wrongly rounding values can have a huge impact on the final value of the fault current.
      The correct Zpu(Total) = 5.845 + j2.479 , with => Ipu = 0.1575A can round to Ipu = 0.158A.
      The line current High Voltage Side (primary side) = 0.699A can round to 0.7A.
      The line current Low Voltage Side (secondary side) = 7.493A can round to 7.5A.

    You total calculation not correct. Trf is .106j pu

      Hi, thanks for your comment, Transformer T1 per unit value is indeed 0.106j pu, which is a correct value as calculated.

      Hi, thanks again for pointing out the typo, I've seen it.
      And below are the rectification.
