🧡 Stephanie was the original Dorothy in the stage play THE WIZ before the movie with Michael Jackson! I saw her back then and I was never the same! She is the UNSUNG G.O.A.T., for sure! She had that voice as a young girl and it just got better and better! NO ONE sings this song like Ms. Mills! 🎤 Periodt! Dot! TFS! 😊

Stephanie was 16 when she played Dorothy in the stage show of The Wiz in 1974. This song will forever be hers. She recorded it again in the early 90's because the song writer and many of the people she performed with in that show were dying of HIV/AIDS at the time.
Stephanie is now 66 years old and still putting on a show to behold. I had the pleasure of seeing her earlier this year.
Now Ashley, all of her renditions of the song "Home" are the bomb, But if you want the ultimate version, I would suggest you see the rendition on Sinbads Summer Jam". This version of Stephanie Mills doing "Home" is untouchable. Anytime Phillip Bailey of Earth, Wind and Fire comes on stage after she finishes and bows down to her on stage in front of everybody, You know she gave the ultimate Performance!!!
