Hymen breaks in the first intercose and yaa it's painful there is a thin lining in our vagina called endothelium it breaks and then blood come out blood only depend on the our external lining mesoderm which protect the hymen coming of the blood is totally depend on a women bodies however hymen does not break only during sex and it might be break in case when the women is active in sports like cycling and horse riding but breaking of hymen is not a actual sign of virginity i am a mbbs student have studied this
