Very impressive, feature-packed unit. It's basically the same engine/generator/housing/enclosure as the Pulsar (which is half the price) but the Pulsar is more of a no-frills version with no app, no electric start, no control panel screen. It's all about choices and consumer preferences, and they sure have it covered across the board, from basic to full-featured. But at twice the price as the Pulsar, the profit margin on this must be a lot greater, as the extra goodies sure don't equate to another $500 in cost. But, if you compare this to the Honda, this thing is still a bargain, AND it has dual fuel, which the Honda doesn't. I'm always amazed on what new inverter generators keep coming to market. Cool stuff.
Thanks, that little buddy of generator was doing it!!! Little power house, I wonder is that one of the smallest that can do 3400w Stable. NICE. Thanks for the review!
Thank you, Gavin! Your show has helped me out tremendously! I have two Genmax 6000 Watt generators. But they do not have a place for banana clips to run them in parallel. Is there a way I can parallel them together so I can have a real 6000 Watts?
not about this genset but update on my igen4500 single gas fuel just reached 4500 hours ! off grid living in 18 months oil changes 300-500 hours just 1 spark plug change at 3700 hours this my second one first lasted just 2200 hours got a new one waiting for this one to quit guess sometimes you get a good one
Another great video! I've been looking at this generator. I'm in my mid 60's finding a 50 lb generator that can fully run a 30 amp camper and has an electric start sounds like something I should be able to work with maybe till I'm 70. My concern with this generator is the small fuel tank and how often I might need to refuel.
I bought this generator last year to use with my 30 amp Ibex toy hauler. It runs the 15k A/C which does not have a soft start, as well as the microwave. I run it mostly on propane so I have a hose to connect to the trailer's quick connect. I'm 71 so it is a little heavy, but around my garage I move it on a small Harbor Freight furniture dolly.
My plan for it is to never run a drop of gas. I'll be mounting it to the back of the 5th wheel, inside a custom baffle box, and running propane from my rear BBQ quick connect. Can't wait for the remote start stop
Yea I just think these companies would be better off putting money into lowering the sound level’s instead of all the bluetooth screens and wat not wats amazing is how there’s such a big gap in sound level’s from brand to brand
@@TheCumminsturbo2 It's the only way you're getting a 3200/4000 watt generator to weigh at 53 lbs. You sacrifice noise insulation and displacement so the smaller engine has to run much higher RPM to make the same amount of power needed. My Honda's much quieter and weaker EU3000i weighs 130lbs and has a 200cc motor so it can run at low rpm. There's no free lunch.
You are finding all the different brands… Great video!
That app is pretty slick!
Only 53 pounds. Nice.
Thanks for the rundown Gavin.

Agreed 👍🏾
Great info. Please add the THD ratings if you know them.
Exactly what an RV'er needs. But for that price, reckon I'll stick with my Predator 3500, despite it's big, heavy bulkiness.

Finally a generator that has BT and remote operation. Unfortunately, I’ve never heard of the company so don’t know how reliable it is.
Made by Genmax, who makes all the private labeled Gen sets now.... Pulsar, poxurio, maxspeeding and more

I like the large DB monitor. lol at the frowning face 😂
😅
Where is the Pulsar 10500W load test vid? We're waiting lol. Great vid as usual.
I will start posting more test videos soon. This is peak season for my Generator store.
Do you have to use the app with this or can it be used without?
i have same model and can be used without app.
You don’t have to use the app unless you want to
BTW, this is twice the price of the Pulsar 4000.
80 db Jesus definitely not camp ground freindly
At full load

even 40 db generator is not welcomed at camp ground anyway.
