  • Riding in a group can be a lot of fun, but sometimes presents challenges when you cant communicate with each other. In our latest video we fit an Interphone Tour to our helmet. Great bit of kit which lets us connect to sat navs, phones and each other, has a range of upto 1.5km and a 20 hour standy!! awesome.....
    We fit an Interphone Tour Bluetooth Headset into our helmet in this Whilst riding our bikes, its always great to be able to to hear the sat nav, listen to music and speak to each other whilst out and about.
    If you liked the video, remember to give us a thumbs up as it helps a ton, and don't forget to subscribe too, so you don't miss anything!

    I have purchased the same unit and am extremely pleased with it, allowing me to listen to the RT’s audio system, GPS prompts and incoming calls, giving excellent sound quality even with earplugs in. Chose this over the Scala and Sena due to ease of use and being waterproof. Another great video thanks.

    Really interesting video guys, thanks. I have a Scala unit fitted to my Shoei GT Air; had it nearly three years, but it's starting to play up a bit so I'm thinking about a replacement. As for the question of listening to music while riding; I do it all the time, linked to my iPhone which is on shuffle. I see no difference to listening to music in a car; I have no problem hearing other noises around me and that's with me wearing filtered ear plugs. Cheers, Andy

    The prepared space for the speakers is completely wrong with the Caberg Tourmax. The recesses are unfortunately not at the ears but at the back of the head. The flat speakers also press through the cushion at this point.
    I absolutely don't understand how you can hear anything in this position.
    The only possibility is to fix the headphones in the upper part of the chinstraps.

    • @RiderCamTV
      @RiderCamTV  6 лет назад

      The tourmax does for some reason have the recesses a little further back than the duke has but I haven’t found an issue at all with hearing anything or any discomfort at all. We use the interfone headsets and the speakers fit just fine :)

    • @M-artin
      @M-artin 6 лет назад +1

      I don't believe it, but maybe I am a special anatomical case.
      My ear canals, as well as those of my motorcycle colleagues, are at almost every helmet at about the height of the upper chin strap - slightly below the attachment.
      But certainly not where Caberg provides for the recesses.
      I have nevertheless found a way to fix it.
      On the plastic base of the cheek pads Caberg has strangely wise "very elastic, red ribbons sewn.
      Exactly in the anatomically correct place.
      If you fix the headset with the crepe tape underneath, it sits acoustically correctly and does not press.

    • @RiderCamTV
      @RiderCamTV  6 лет назад

      Glad you got it sorted in the end. I looked at my tourmax and the recesses are as you say further back than in the duke but I haven’t found an issue with sound or discomfort.
      Thanks for the info though :)

    Initially i would've said no to music whilst riding in case of sirens, honking horns or other potential hazards.
    BUT As long as your observant i think music is ok.
    Car drivers blast it loud enough. On that note, there have been times where I've zoned out listening to music in a car & wondered how the hell I got to where I was, no recollection almost like an auto pilot.
    I don't personally listen to any whilst riding but that's probably because I've listened to the same 20 songs all my life.
    Again observation observation observation & try not let your mind wander whilst listening.
