I needed this video so much! I'm currently on a fantasy Burnout and want to read things outside my comfort zone. The first book about the human girl in the vampire world sounds fantastic! Going to try it :)
Currently reading (and loving) The Serpent & The Wings of Night. I’m new to the genre. I’ve read a few fantasy books but Powerful ignited my hunger for more 😍
You’ve convinced me to read The Serpent & Wings of Night! I was scared to read it since I heard it’s really violent, but I loved Fourth Wing and want to read more romantasy and the way you talked about it makes me think I’ll like it 😊
I think you’d really enjoy Miranda Lyn’s books. She has 2 completed series: Fae Rising (trilogy) and The Unmarked Witch (duology). They are both slow burn and have snarky FMCS.
I’ve read the first two books of Air awakens and I’ve loved the series so far. Mainly I was ecstatic that the main characters never did anything that made me think they were dumb. At least that I can remember. lol. Most of the time even books I love have a couple of those moments
Please! read Radiance by Grace Draven [my 5✨️]. Just chapter one is enought ☺️ But also do know that I was disaponted with The Bridge Kingdom because in ch16 trought to ch24 there was never "we are enemy and I want to kill you" tension...she was just spying around and he was " I don't trust her... but she is beautiful" 😮💨
I think you will really enjoy the _A Discovery of Witches_ (book of life series) by Deborah Harkness, it is *not* enemies to lovers, but based on your excited description of the first book in the video, and your appreciation for really good world building, I think you will enjoy it immensely.
Carissa Broadbent is such a talented writer! I didn't think that I was a vampire romance kind of gal but I LOVED these books so much.. Everyone should read!
I have the Air Awakens books on audio, I should really give them a try. I really enjoyed the first two books in the Bridge Kingdom series and I'm hoping to pick up book three soon.
Do you have books where the FL from modern world transmigrated into a historical novel where she is a villainess. She doesn't have to be a villainess. She just transmigrated. Thank you
please please read "once upon a broken heart" by stephanie garber!! it's a connected series to her other trilogy "caraval" and the entire universe she built throughout these books is addicting. as an avid fantasy romance reader, i can safely say her books are my all-time favorites!
I recommend the Daindreth's Assasin series. An enslaved sorceress is sent to kill the daemonically possessed emperor heir apparent. Spoiler in the title of the fifth book: Daindreth's Empress. Great world building, great characters.
Why did I only just now realise that Nyaxia is slow burn? I clearly hate myself for not having picked that series up yet lol. Bridge Kingdom also sounds so good, I need to get to it!! I just finished my first Dramione fanfiction (Manacled) and that is the first romance since ACOMAF that actually made me feel things, so now I want more!!! Thanks for all the recs 🤩
@@CoverswithCassidy The wonderful lady didn't read anything since the hunger games finished, until two weeks ago when she read this book called Fourth Wing. Now she's reading the sequel and asking me for recommendations. I don't know romance books. Best I could do was give her some of the ones I read. I was told that they weren't "Spicy enough". Whatever that means. 🙄 THANKS FOR REPLYING
@@BlackHand531 ooooh yes, I would day if she hasn't A court of thorns and roses is a staple. But I also highly recommend A Serpent And The Wings of Night or Slaying The Vampire Conqueror by Carissa Broadbent!
@@BlackHand531 a court of thorns and roses is a completed trilogy, with another trilogy coming (one book out) Slaying is a standalone And serpent has 2 books out but will be six books long willed with three duologies
These are great! I love the variety of some ones I haven't heard a lot about. I want to love romantasy but I find I have a lot of issues with unlikable female MCs 🌉
“There she is.” I. Melt. Every. Single. Time.
What book is this from?
What book is this quote from?
It’s from The Serpent & the Wings of Night! It’s amazing 😍
It made me melt... until the 1000th time it was said and then I rolled my eyes 😅
Reading Bridge Kingdom is such a fun time, or it was for me. I hope more people get to read it. Btw the second story is also really good.
Yeah I'm caught up!

“There she is…”. Love The Serpent & The WingsOf the Night and the second book, pre ordered the third!!! ❤❤❤🎉
such a good one
Currently reading (and loving) The Serpent & The Wings of Night. I’m new to the genre. I’ve read a few fantasy books but Powerful ignited my hunger for more 😍
I hope you enjoy! I feel like once the hunger starts it never goes away! If you haven't already try heartless hunter!

I wouldn't say it's any more violent then fourth wing was tbh! So I really hope you love it
It took me a bit to get into because of the world building but once I got in, it is so so good. Raihn gives Xaden a run for his money.
@@CoverswithCassidy thank you for letting me know!❣️
@@phallikamon ooh I’m excited 😊
The first book in that series is great. The second one is lacking imo.
I'm caught up on the Blood Grace series. It continues to be soooo good. I'm not a fan of enemies to lovers so this is my jam.
OMG YES Air Awakens!!! Not enough people talk about that series it's just a solid staple and the elemental magic gives ATLA
This video just reminded me that the audiobook for Ashes of the Star Cursed King came out today!!! That is 100% what I will be reading next!
I just finished the Bridge Kingdom series and absolutely loved it. I hope more people give it a go. Thanks for the recommendations
Glad you enjoyed it!!
I just started the serpent and the wings of night on my kindle today! Super excited ❤
I Hope You enjoy it!
I'm about 25% in, and I am LOVING it so much already @CoverswithCasidy

Omg where did you get that sweater? I love it!
Have you heard of the witch collector series? I heard sooo many good things about it
I have read the first one. I personally wasn't a fan.
Going to pick up dawn of onyx and bridge kingdom soon! I mean...soon is probably next year sometime but you know what I mean 😂🌉
I really got into The Serpent & Wings of Night, although the ending threw me off and I'm trying to push through the beginning of the 2nd book 😅
