BDS winning was the best possible result for the scene to have as many narratives going into Worlds as possible. Love seeing "simple", fast, fundamental Rocket League pay dividends in a meta with incredible mechanical emphasis.
@@KirbyRL I think without this win most people would consider BDS out of the conversation for winning Worlds because this is their first good in-person result this season, so now more teams in consideration to take 1st imo = better narratives - not that BDS winning is the best storyline.
Honestly BDS winning worlds is a nightmare. Monkey moon been beating our ass since after season x . We finally have a team in G2 who can compete , so I really hope they can push through and get it done . No disrespect to MM and BDS, but it really sucked having an all EU final 4 last year ,plus we haven't won the title so we season 8
I can only have so much hype for bds after their numerous fumbles this season. Falcons, g2, and gm8 all have higher peaks than bds in this finals. At least from what i've seen 🤷♂️ dralii insane tho
Great video but @ 2:25 he is nowhere near one of the greatest players of all time, winning one worlds and one EWC (which is the equivalent of a gamers8) does not make you a G.O.A.T of RL, the G.O.A.Ts of RL are the likes of Kaydop, Turbo, Kronovi who have had the biggest impact or success in RL esports history
Hey did say of this say of this era and I would say monkey moon is up their he won a wc, came runners up, won a ewc and has a opportunity to win another wc and all his regional wins theirs no doubt he’s the most consistent in this era
MonkeyMoon is definitely one of if not the GOAT of RL esports. His dominance since Season X and somehow always staying at the top is incredible. He won the first major LAN, then won the World Championship. Major + World championship runner up last season, now he's also won EWC. 4 years of nothing but staying at the top is screaming GOAT status.
If we’re gonna be completely honest, BDS beat SSG because Hockser wasn’t playing good. That is the only reason they beat them. We know there is a guaranteed top 9 at worlds with PWR being close at 10th, but if any of the teams in that top 9 aren’t making playoffs, it’s BDS, the team that got swept round 1 of playoffs.
