Great video and beautiful photograph. I find you work very inspirational. I like your approach to editing black and white. I look forward to see seeing you future videos on editing.
Amazing! I too always look forward to your videos. They are both inspirational and educational. I just found a used M Monochrom from a reputable shop and should get it tomorrow.
Thank you!! I have the M10M, my first Leica and it changed how I see the world.... But, I"ve always been trying to see how others edit their fully monochrome images....most RUclips videos on it, start with color and go to B&W. It's a different beast for starting with B&W. Anyway, you've given me some great ideas how to change my approach to editing my M10M shots. I'm using Capture One....but the concepts are the same. I'd actually like to see more videos of ya'll doing edits to your monochrome shots!! Thank you and have a great day!! CC
It's taken me a while to get somewhere near to images that I am happy with on the M10M. I just love using a monochrome only camera as it makes life a little bit simpler in one respect!
Great video! I really like these "editing" style videos. Are you planning to do more of these? It would be helpful to see how you use all the features of your SilverChrome presets and profiles with both color and and monochrom cameras. Overall I like SilverChrome a lot with my m10 monochrom.
Just registered on the LFI Gallery, it’s a very interesting community. As an idea for future videos - maybe make a video about LFI, covering how to use it properly, how to fill out hashtags, etc. I think it could be interesting. Thanks!
@@WalkLikeAlice thank you very much for taking the time to reply, do you use centre weighted metering usually for all street or Spot? Your work really inspires me, I purchased your preset pack and find it fantastic with my Q2M,
@@RonanOCuilinnour cameras only have centre-weighted metering but I wouldn’t use spot metering for street work. Sarah uses a spot meter for when she’s doing her BTS project work, but most of the time it’s centre weighted.
@@WalkLikeAlice thanks for that advice, I was using highlight weighted but I did find centre was better for Street on the Q2, look forward to your future uploads, iv pretty much watched every video on your channel 👊
Another fab video and wonderful shot Jeff…thank you
Thank you!!
Fantastic image and a well deserved Master shot.
Thank you, Catherine ❤️
Stunning! Just got a q2 mono and I’m flat stick learning how best to process the images. These vids are invaluable!
Thank you 🙏
Great image, I can see why it is a master shot. I always look forward to the videos of the work you both do.
Thanks, Mark.

Thank you. I’m actually in the middle of shooting some videos dedicated to editing b/w images. 👍

This is really useful and inspiring thank you sharing your techniques and approach.

Thank you. Yes, I’ve been asked by a few people if I would expand on the editing side. So expect more videos in the very near future.
Been a fan since Master Wedding Photographers DVD...
That was a long time ago!!
@@WalkLikeAlice Yes, that was when you were in your late 50s? ;-)
Really nice image and processing, btw. Might have to give Lightroom another try. Although I have just updated to Capture One 23.

Alas, there wouldn’t be enough interest in the video to warrant the time and effort required to make it.
Lovely shot XX
Thanks, Paul
this is really awesome, question, do you shoot at a neutral exposure or do you always under expose?
Thank you. -1/3 stop

Nice one Jeff.
Thanks Iain
Just found you wow will be going nowhere else great video
You are very kind. Thank you.
Which viewfinder are you using on your camera? Thank-you.
I use two. The Leica 28mm Brightline 12009 and the Leica 21mm Brightline 12024. The 21mm also has framelines for the 28mm.
@@WalkLikeAlice Thank you!
