Sweet bike. Never seen an ebike with a touch screen controller on it before. It looks like you improperly tested the PAS speed settings though. Throttle on most full sized ebikes typically work independently of the PAS. PAS 1 - 3 are to give you an additional speed boost as you pedal, hence the name "pedal assist system". I'm sure its something like 10mph on PAS1, 15 on PAS2, and then full 20 or more on PAS 3. My ebike (Aventon Level) is locked to 20 on throttle as that keeps it a legal classified Class 3, but if I casually pedal and set it on PAS5 (highest setting), it'll allow the bike to get to 29-30mph
The bike is very stylish and has some interesting tech, but for the price you would think that hydraulic brakes would be standard and maybe even a suspension seatpost, as well. Also, I gather it is a 48 volt system but what is the amperage for the battery? Could not find that info on the website!
Avoid the mistake I made by buying this bike... Thank you for reaching out OKAI customer support. We appreciate the details provided. At the moment OKAI does not sell batteries separately and there's no time frame to do so.
@@turbo95eclipse nope most these companies use proprietary connections. Highly doubt you can just buy a replacement battery for it, maybe for moped ebikes but not these. Then theres the whole UL certified battery and im not one to risk it, when they should be selling parts for the bike they created. You wouldn't buy a car from a company that sold no parts for it the same holds true for this bike. Almost a year and their website is bare minimum, can't buy ANYTHING for the bike including batteries. Needless to say I went with Aventon fat bike and it has been easy getting batteries and spares for. Okai is yet another startup which gets initial capital, fill their pockets and slowly dies out. It's not the first company that does this and leaves customers scrambling for part and are left with a bike they can't fix.
at the time replacement stuff was available and it went thru the company to buy the bike and everything but now the okai bike is only available on bestbuy website, they moved it over to them so things have changed since making this video
@@MrCentralDriver yeah I canceled an order I had for the bike. Refuse to spend $2000 on a bike I can't get parts for went with Aventon. Sad because in person the bike is gorgeous photos and videos do it no justice.
What a bike Jon it looks like a downhill bike but the forks are less staggered!!Very Eye-catching and a steal at that price

Looks good Thx Mr Cd.
The ariel rider kelper is a great ebike man
Suppose to review one but never received it
It's a nice bike but I don't think it comes close to the Kepler when comes to specs..

Great video, love to hear if you can unlock for it to go faster.
Same. Hoping a Firmware update will release more power
We're working on it!

@@turbo95eclipsewhere can you get a replacement battery from??? You have some info you can share?
That would be perfect for my mom to go to work. It would be a lot nicer if there was a tricycle version.
Did they ever add an option to purchase a spare battery?
Never saw one as they went to bestbuy
Are they still NOT offering a spare battery?
this company sold to bestbuy. not sure i have seen a spare battery anymore
I need one to commute
How big is the battery? I need a bike that has good range..
i have one and it depends on what you have it on 3 would drain it quicker than 0 but i think it’s about 40 miles at 0 and 27 at 3 not fully sure
trigger throttle deactivate PAS let go the trigger then PAS & pedal
Did not see a setting for that other than putting the bike in pedal assist 0 but then nothing will work.
Must be a way of hacking top speed
Good stuff :)

these do have a 15% restocking fee at best buy
A lot of things have changed since I made the review on this bike. Originally it was selling on its own website and then change to Best Buy.
Meh. I’m underwhelmed
The touch display? Or the nfc ? Or the rgb ?
There is medication for that
