Ha Ha Ha...We may be way too low standard band to play in Australia. For Srilankan Aussies know only few names of bands. They think they are the best and we don't know nothing and we are not to up to standard. Ha Ha Ha... My band is a very versatile dance and show band can play Sinhala, Bailas, Hindi, Tamil and all western dance medleys and songs. Thank you for concern my friend
@@ChandimalFernandoMusic Fortunately or unfortunately the organisers of events focusing on a few Sri Lankan groups/ singers all the time caters to a different type of audience who appreciate their music. Those people dont represent the entire Sri Lankan community living in Australia. I am sure there may be so many people who appreciate you and you bands music and performance given what you have contributed to the music industry in SL for decades. But I am not sure who can/will take the initiative to facilitate arrangements for your band to perform in Australia. Perhaps , your colleagues from your Alma Mater could sponsor your band for their annual dinner dance in Victoria . Given what you have done for your school as an old boy/ cadet , I am sure the young/ old boys living in Australia would appreciate you and would like you to perform here. I am sure your band's performance of ' Papare' at their annual dance would definitely take them back to their school days! I believe this years annual dance in Victoria is held in September and not sure which group would perform. I agree with you 100% that your band is very versatile and can offer varied entertainment to the audience. Hopefully we would be able watch a live performance of you and your band in the near future in Australia ( Melbourne ). All the best!
