Nice! That frame always messes me up 😂 My only way of dealing with it til now was to either switch hips and slide into a kind of scarf hold thing, or try to dig it out by hand. This is great!
@robbiewoolsey lets use the video for our imagination,if you pause it at like 8 seconds ill use that as a reference. If he twists his hips so that his weight is on his right side of his hips. He turns from facing down counterclockwise so hes laying on his side, facing the guy. While sliding his right leg under the guys arm, I like to keep a grip on his hand with my left arm, now use your top leg, in this case his left one, and lift it over his right arm and clamp down, cause you already have your bottom leg scooped under his arm. Personally I like to telephone his far side arm, which is the bottom guys left arm. Basically means I underhook his left, far side arm with my right arm, bring my hand up and connect it to my ear or the back of my head. And now he cant use that far side arm, and you have control of his shoulder. So now you have his right arm between your legs and his left arm in your 💪 bicep. He cant move his arms. And you have a free left hand. I use this a lot, my go too. You can american, Kimora, both arms, arm bar both arms (more difficult with the far side arm but ive done it, its tricky and you do lose position) and you can inverse triangle. I love to inverse triangle while kimoraing the far side arm
Thank you so very much for this. Especially the framing answering, everytime I have found myself more focused on his framing then my attack on the arm or just passing to mount. By then he has already either recovered half guard or gotten to his knee. So thank you, this helps hugely.. oss 🤙
I'm not sure if my eyes are working ... But it's good to learn from smaller dudes and bigger dudes too. Smaller guys you want to learn then because they are using leverage and knowledge not just the assumption of them being a beast. That's how I grew up learn when you're small and perfect it as you get stronger Learn big guy moves. But leverage for if you are smaller is great because just think if you're bigger as you get bigger how great it will be then. My opinion.
Do you know when you’re in the Mount the one is done right you pulled his his his belt and you can pull to the floor on the right and then you can go to Back control😊
When he pushes on your knee, that looks like a good time for Americana. You don't even need to remove your arm from around the neck. I don't know about stability though. I'm just putting that out there.
This is an amazing detail thank you for this one.

Same
You can also turn to a kasa katana position and push that frame between your legs, and you can kinda crusafix it.

Definitely want to drill this. Looks awesome. I’ll try to sneak this into my next roll and probably screw it up and get swept lol
An excellent detail and finishing sequence. OSS
One of the best videos you have IMO. Very underrated, key details here
