He was a good young man. He had morals but under the circumstances he had to fit in and survive. He did well. She grew up fast and became a true bad ass. One that can hide in plain sight for real. They were good to one another.
The culmination of their relationship was... _so_ unnecessary. I shipped them, I loved their dynamic, but that scene in s8 was, like so much of that conflagrating trainwreck, very uncomfortable.
It's uncomfortable but necessary. Those scenes show us that sex is an everyday thing for everyone, and not just for your own stimulation. You may enjoy seeing nudity and porn when you want it for yourself, but scenes like these remind us that sex isn't always for your own pleasure, it is just a thing people do.
