it's the video test I was waiting for, it's performing well at the moment with the AGA and the possibility of deactivating the card is excellent, thanks a lot 😀

OG hardware is so cool! I kinda settled with Winuae, it's good enough for my needs.

This is wonderful. It is so sweet that it is possible to boot into stock mode. This make this solution the best Amiga accelerator solution ever! 100% compatible and by far the fastest every seen! Sure, the Emu68 need some love but it is already very good.

I have read opinions a few places, were people say that everything RPI and Amiga are crap. Most of the times then I agree, but in this case, I fully disagree.
EMU68 are not emulation as such. It is JIT and are more in the realms of what Apple call Rosetta. Basically a realtime CPU translation of code that are still running on real hardware.

I have a small issue that you might be able to give hint on how to solve....
I have this full Amiga installation on a CF card, and I have done an image backup of that drive. How is it possible to add these partitions onto a SD card, that already have the EMU68 FAT32 partition. All these flashing tools like balanca etcher, all erase the partitions, when I restore an image file.
Reasons being that I wish to use my own Amiga setup. And the FAT32 partition need to go first as far as I know. Can it be done on Linux? As that is what I am using?

Pity it does not have fast ram in stock a1200 mode... it would be great. Maybe someone can make it so that we get at least 8gb fast when in stock :) That would be the perfect card to buy.

Yes but do you mean 8Mb fast memory.

I use an HDMI lead from the Pi to TV, then an RGB SCART lead comes out of the Amiga’s RGB port, into an OSSC and from there an HDMI lead goes into the other HDMI port of the TV

Silly question but I`ve got CaffeineOS_Storm_Backup_912 but I cannot fit it on a 32gb sd card does this require a 64gb??When using Raspberry Pi Imager it says not enough space (image is 29.7 GB (31,902,400,512 bytes)) all my 32gb cards have 28gb thanks

Yes.... Get a nice brand card. I am using a 64 gb Sandisk extreme though, and running on a PiStorm for Amiga500. But at the end, still, you will not regret good brand cards.

Igor's dream was affordable, compact and powerful FPGA based accelerator. That's why he did not immediately jump to one of the bigger consumer-level FPGAs out there. On the other hand Gunnar did always aim big. And not with amiga reborn hobbyist project but rather well paid hobby/side job. And for such projects steady flow of cash is important. In which case you can take donations, pay for stuff with your own money or just get money for stuff you design. What's wrong with either of those?
