Hanu Man (also marketed as Hanuman) is a 2024 Indian Telugu-language superhero film written and directed by Prasanth Varma and produced by Niranjan Reddy Kandagatla under Primeshow Entertainment. It stars Teja Sajja in the title role, alongside Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Raj Deepak Shetty and Vinay Rai. The film is set in the fictional village of Anjanadri and is the first installment of the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe.

Majority of the Indian audience likes to watch masala films. Telugu cinema is having high success rate in doing those type of movies. But that doesn't not mean that Telugu cinema is only masala cinema. There are so many underrated gems. People don't know about it. Why every industry should be same. Each industry can be unique and provide different cinema so that people can watch all kind of movies.

Legend Vishwanath shows you what a Telugu film is and how great a Telugu film is. Even big star like Kamal Hasan bow down to this legend and acclaims Vishwanath garu as their guru. Every film of his is a pleasing masterpiece. RIP sir

We all are habituated to watch all marvel and Hollywood movies without asking questions but when Indians make movie we talk nonsense.
Stop this nonsense of calling it telugu masala stupid things, this is just one epic fun movie, please go watch it in theaters, trust me I do watch all super hero movies, but the connection you are able to make to this is so much better because of our mythology and how well it is made, the visuals, the comedy, action, goosebumps moments, and the Lord himself! One of the best theatrical experience I have ever had that too for a night show, just go watch it with your friends and family!
The movie I saw yday and the movie he is describing is completely different. This movie is freaking epic a must watch. Just one word HANUMAN
Great start for telugu cinema, with shows augmented across India for hanuMAN! and prashant neel is a legend
6:28 they are failing due to their reusing the same thing again and again and not able create something fresh and here we have our X-factor combing our ithihasaas into our story telling that's where hanu-man stood out for me you can watch the film over and over again it feels fresh
and Prasanth varma initially just wanted to make simple fun loving super hero film with a minimal budget and after that he never change the story part so it's understandable and he conciously taken care not to experiment much with story telling unlike his other films they wanted to stick to the basics and they exceled in that
Perhaps telugu masala is there to get a wider audience, if you take examples like bhavesh joshi, Tumbad Or mard ko dard nahi hota,. These films didn't collect that much because it caters to certain sections of audiences
Telugu Industry can make comparatively grounded Vigilante film also , U ll see that this year with saripodha Sanivaaram . So say Masala not Telugu masala .
First of all it’s not wrong to watch masala movies, what’s wrong with it? I don’t understand, not everything has to be insterstaller. As long as the movie makes me immersive, telling me a good story or bit entertaining. That’s what matters in a movie. At the end of the day, you go there to forget the reality and get some entertainment. So i find people who want relalstic movies quite incomprehensible, if you want reality go live in reality😂. Movie is supposed to be a made up world

Still Hanuman is a Masala film. That is backed by religious emotions. So people will be trolled if they talk about the negative.
Actually Prashant Varma can make movies more interesting way. But the problem is, he was not able to connect with our Telugu Audience. If you watch his movies from first, he started decreasing seriousness in the movies and tried to add some masala stuff like other Telugu movies (which worked out very well) like Zombiereddy. That's why people in here started connecting with his ideas.
He could make Hollywood level movies with VFX. But there are two problems one is Indian Audience, his movies might fail at theatres then it will be an underrated movie (like Saaho). Second problem is budget constraints.
Now I am sure he solved both the problems. He understood how he can connect with audience even with a Hollywood level scripts and I am sure more producers are going to invest in his future films, after the success of Hanu-Man.
If he can crack it in Telugu he can crack it anywhere dude, films like Pelli chooplu, Arjun Reddy, Sita Ramam, jersey etc are examples, Telugu is more acceptable for experiments, he is not playing it safe but he is trying to stay rooted instead making it a copy of western culture

Super hero contect goes to peak in next part 1st part you should build platform right to run upcoming parts and to not get bore while building main zoner(super hero) to not feel running drama they add running comedy
Literally i am disappointed with your review that super hero material should be more in india i think other than krish 2or3 super hero movies are there they are utterflop because they followed what you are suggesting in review super hero plot should be more.. They dosed too much super hero plot without running story parallel.... Krish build the base plot strong so krish series is going strong with one super hero
I think prasanth varma did 100% right thing by giving strong story line with drama and running comedy to entertain which helped audience to understand and digest super hero material in second half
