DAILY MAINTENANCE - CNC MACHINE

Daily maintenance of your CNC Machines will save production time and prevent machinery failure. To maximize output, CNC machines must be properly maintained, else most components are subjected to premature wear and tear. For more durability and better efficiency of your CNC machine following “ Daily Maintenance ” should be done :-
1. Check the lubrication system for oil level and pressure(15bar).
2. Grease chuck at all the points before running the machine.
3. Clean AC filter and check temp for cooling.
4. Clean all the chips from the way, and from front door rail.
5. Clean waste lubrication bin.
6. Run chip conveyor in reverse at shift end to remove complete chips.
7. Check air quality for moisture free. Air pressure should be set to 6 to 7 kg/cm sq.

if you apply compresed air to a filter you will break the tissue and bigger particles could enter to the electrical cabinet.

If I negate every point that was made here I'm where the CNC which I'm trying to resurrect. I still hope I can make gold out of that piece of ugly crap I'm working on (currently I'm waiting for some memory chip spare to solder it on the controller...)
