i fucking know right? I have this same set (minus all those atk jewels) and still takes me about 10 minutes to solo
@MrAsap2000as highly doubt that. there's MHW tournaments where they do ridiculous speed runs like this with Guild arena armor sets. I have manage to do some back in MH4U with that LBG that I can't think of the name at the moment. but there was a broken LBG back then that you could do Alatreon in like 3 minutes. But I just cant seem to do speed runs on World
Dexwin De Jesus there is actually a montage he made with all the failed runs. Not saying his normal run takes 10 min though, he’s top tier.

@@Dexwin09 friend I'm a speedrunner too and i can get every quest in 5 minutes, (it takes many tries to pull off a perfect run)

i'm new to monster hunter/never used GS, what exactly did he do that was insane? (relative to the rest of the video since it's all crazy). did he rebreak the spikes right as they reformed?
edit: someone else mentioned it. tackle > side blow > slinger burst. I never used GS so I didn't realize if this was a normal combo or not

i used gs for 200+ hours and doesn't even know such move exist lol
@@Group-hr9oq Its Tackle (∆+O) + Side Blow (R2+∆) + Slinger Burst (L2). Its good combo for blunt damage (Tackle and SideBlow) and repositioning (Slinger Burst). It also gets you to TCS after preforming it.
That sequence you did at 2:03 had me questioning if I really knew how to use a great sword. I had no idea the side hit could go into the slinger. Great job!

Most impressive. Especially considering you're using a weapon that's the complete polar opposite of what you usually use.
hahaha I was once so frustrated with GS pre-IB,
but then I got frustrated with DB (my main, 1000+ hunt) in IB
because it requires two clutch claw for weakening (PC does not has the buffing patch 12.02.0 literally until a week ago)
so I turned to GS and found that the slinger TCS is a HUGE buff, it is much more enjoyable pre-IB
with the right timing GS can perma-CC/KO the monsters, slinger TCS makes it more flexible
@@valen8560 If you mained GS pre Iceborne you know that GS got heavily nerfed so that you would use the new added moves.
@@eduardoledesma5568 ohhhh. So that's why I stopped playing with gs is iceborne. I thought it felt it different because of MR monsters. 🤔

At first I saw the thumbnail and was like “oh cool an AT Nerg speedrun”
Then I saw a Safi weapon and was like “oh nvm runs invalid”
_Then I realized it was Tempered RUINER Nergigante_
Tempered monsters have the same hp as non tempered ones, why'd you think a safi weapon is invalid? It's a weapon you can obtain legally within the game without cheating

But I meant like regular Nergigante. Using super-late-game master rank gear versus a high rank monster and calling it a valid speedrun (unless, of course, you outright say you’re going for THE FASTEST KILL POSSIBLE) just doesn’t seem right to me.
LegendRaptor080 agreed. It’s not really impressive beating up on a HR monster with MR gear as a “speed run”.... unless it’s Behemoth!!!!! We can ALWAYS post videos of hunting the shit out of Behemoth. Hahahaha

@@SunLovinSolaire they do have more hp lol, i use the monster hunter world hp mod a lot and have fought a whole lot of tempered monsters

First GS run i see that competes with OLAY for level of perfection
Phenix its different. Masa GS has many moves that olay don’t typically use. Olay focus more on true charge and the palico sleep which makes him so much faster than any other speedrunner. Masa’s gives me a more comfortable feeling

I sub 10mn ruiner nergi constantly now so he would be able to kill 2 or 3 before I kill one lol

Rathalomaniac Is not for disrespect, it is so you can get the True Charged Slash faster. You can go from Charged Slash, use the slinge munition and your next attack will be the True Charged Slash.

I love watching speed runners because they WILL brake that one part that is almost impossible for a normal person to brake, "oh, this Nergigante has strong metal horns, no it don't, it takes like 15 minutes to brake all of Rabodon's bones, how about 50 seconds?"

So I just got world and started using the greatsword and charge blade. Does anybody else think the great sword feels repetitive with just 3 charge attack? Not gonna lie the tackle ability is awesome though.
When you're fighting different monsters in different area it feels entirely different even though you're using the same damn move for the 100th time.

ムラムラムの防具を作ったのですが、回復カスタム必須ですか？ 超会心、弱特、逆恨み、属性7、体力増強3を付けようと構成を考えているところです。

必須ではないです
むしろ逆恨みを確実に発動させる為に回復カスタムは無しの方が理想です
とは言え回復カスタム無しだと生存率が下がるのでそこは相手にするモンスターと自分の腕前次第といった感じです😊

When you think about it we are literally the plague for these monsters. They just live their lives and we come in and do this 💀
Well in lore we only kill monsters after mating season to keep their numbers in check. We just kill them if theres too many, and there always is. Its actually strictly forbidden to kill more than the guild says you can, cause it messes up the food chain and stuff

skillustrate on PS4 It’s the options button, you can skip canteen eating scenes and capture screens like that as well
bobby payne Capturing is a different button, but thanks. I’m not even going to shame myself by telling you that I already skipped canteen cutscenes routinely but somehow didn’t think of pressing the very same button to accomplish the very same thing after successfully completing a hunt.

Going to talk in PS4 controls for ease of explanation.
Roll shoulder bash (X -> Triangle)
Side smack (Idle triangle)
Slinger shot (L2, can only be done after a greatsword attack which in this case was idle triangle)
True charge slash (Triangle. Can be done after slinger shot as a new move from iceborne)
Greatsword is more Brute Monster that the actual brute monsters
can someone explain what's the purpose of shooting the dung pod?
You know how the true charged slash takes attacking 3 times. The dung pod burst makes you skip one of the attacks so you can reach the true charged slash quicker
