Thanks for watching! Let me know if you questions. Graven Deep Run: ruclips.net/video/Bz_zk5wd2vk/видео.html - The build used and the Tank's PoV are both linked in the description!
Hi Skinny. Another brilliant video. You are a pleasure to watch. Couple of quick questions about the build you are using (hope you don't mind): - Why Pillar of Nirn for the boss setup? Wouldn't Relequen do more single target damage (especially if the boss is mobile )? - Are you using Order's Wrath because it's easy to get/configure? Is it really as strong as the other standard sets? Thank you again for your contribution -- you are a pillar of the ESO community. 😍
Relequen may have been better for some of the fights but now that oakensoul has minor slayer on it the diff in that and nirn is very small. And nirn you don’t have to keep stacks going to maximize. Same logic with orders wrath. Might have had better results with a stack set or sweatier set on some fights but i just wanted a setup I could run for all the bosses and not think about any of that stuff. And this was great for that.
Nice! Is there a reason you are using Boundless instead of Hurricane? And also wouldn't Wrath be better than Bound Armaments on boss fights? :) Also can you estimate how much of a dmg loss Oakensoul is compared to regular Whorl/Pillar/Maw set up?
To fully complete the lightning meme for the storm cursed set for trash mobs 😆 yes hurricane is stronger. Bound armaments I really like cause it gives me a stam ability to cast regularly and without it I run out of mag using bi-stat food. Plus the extra stam is nice to roll more. Not sure the dps diff. That would highly depend on your group and what kinds of uptimes you get on certain things.
So I don't want to spoil this dungeon for myself because I want the experience of figuring it out, but I got to say I love that you still use that Mythic ring after the patch! It is very good for the community to see that you don't need a sweaty optimized setup to beat all the content and I appreciate that you show that👊
not sure if it's the shockwave bash or if it's the adds doing that stomping thing but that "pulse" damage we're having a lot of trouble surviving and it's hits hard repeatedly....any tip for this? Is it related to boss position or tank blocking/roll dodge? wasnt sure if there was a mech we were missing
afaik just constant heals and I had a shield slotted for if things got sketchy. there is a tether that needs to be interrupted as well. I'm not sure about tank related stuff.
The only damage that "pulses" on that fight is the Ground Pound, and it comes from the stone atros. When a stone atro does Ground Pound, it turns yellow and creates a "pulsing" room-wide (i.e., unavoidable) AoE that hits for a lot. There are only two ways to end this: wait for it to end on its own after 30s, or kill the stone atro. While it is active, it's basically a heal check. We don't specifically focus down the atro that is pounding: it takes a bit of time to kill it, and if you can survive it for 15s while you try to kill it, then you can survive it for 30s.
@@skinnycheeks Thanks man. So awesome!! what sets was afaik running, if i may ask? I've been running SPC/Symphony/MA with frost backbar with perf grand rejuvenation on a warden - does that sound about right?
Loved the dungeon. I've tried running oakensoul on a dk to see what it can push on one bar but I wasnt impressed. Sorc seems to be doin fine :) Did you try other classes?
Great video as always absolutely smashed it What is the optimal composition like for dungeons? I always used plar but it's pretty weak in solo and 4man after the nerf Also how is oakensoul performing compared to thrassian this patch wouldn't 2 bar be more dps after oaken nerf
Thanks! Plar is very good still. And I don’t really run optimal comps in dungeons. We just bring the classes we wanna play on. But typically you’d want at least your class crit dmg buff, class wpn or spl dmg buff, and then a warden for toughness. Really doesn’t matter much though.
Ran this dungeon first time and already in HM yesterday. 2. boss is a joke and endboss we made on 4. try. But 1. boss is a big headache. Looks so easy at your run. And indeed, the mechanics are very easy. But the incoming damage is just a pure horror, especially in combination with the nerf of the regeneration heal (-40%!!!). ☹ It's the first 4-player dungeon content where I used the barrier instead of the war horn. I hope that we have overlooked or not yet fully understood a mechanic to reduce incoming damage in the future. By the way, sometime the stone atrochs become yellowish. Do they have to be focussed than? You just did one after the other in the circle. Do you know the setup of your heal (1. boss)? Great job both trifectas on the 1. day!
The 4 sources of damage that you need to worry about the most on the first boss are: - Shockwave Slam (slamming fists into ground): Big AoE around boss, plus boulders that do AoE damage that target each player's position. Roll dodge the boulders from this attack. - Earthquake Stomp (stomping right foot): Big AoE around boss, plus additional AoEs (that are confusingly named Shockwave) that track and follow the player. Keep moving to kite the AoEs, but be careful not to kite your AoEs into other players. - Ground Pound: Atro turns yellow and pounds the ground for 30s, doing room-wide damage. Heal through this damage. I see some groups prioritizing killing these atros, but we didn't think it was worth it. The pounding lasts for only 30s, so by the time we notice that one of them is pounding, and then move across the room to it, and kill it, a good chunk of those 30s has elapsed anyway, so we didn't really shorten it by that much. - Rock Shards: Room-wide unavoidable AoE damage in execute that ramps up over time. Heal through the damage and kill the boss before this damage kills you. So the key is avoiding damage: roll dodging the boulders from the Shockwave Slam and cleanly kiting the Shockwave AoEs from the Earthquake Stomp. The Ground Pound and Rock Shards are primarily heal checks. Also, much of this damage is AoE, so Major Evasion helps a lot. Finally, if the tank dodges the boss's heavy attack (Chin Shatter), it will enrage the boss and increase the damage from Shockwave Slam (and subsequent boulders), Earthquake Stomp (and subsequent Shockwave AoEs), and Rock Shards. So unless they're in serious trouble they should avoid the urge to dodge the heavy attack. Dodging the heavy attack in execute is especially bad as it substantially ramps up the Rock Shards heal check damage. As for the healer's setup, you can find that in our logs: www.esologs.com/reports/HQRzrTyWPCDxFYkg
@@code65536 Thank you very much for the quick and very detailed explanation. The healer's setup is indeed a very common regular standard setup for a 4 player dungeon. That almost surprised me a bit. Great job and thx for the log! 😊

I was healing in here yesterday. It feels fun because I feel extremely relevant as a healer, which is rare for 4-person content.
yeah the incoming dmg is no joke!
yea thats why I try hard to become a buff bot cuz often times my healing isnt all that needed in dungeons, just mainly in DLC dungeons.
Very good run. Congrats
thanks!

Might not be the full reason, but Oakensoul already gives minor slayer, which all dps trial sets offer.

Have you played on a stamblade with this patch? I'm wondering what you think. The dungeon looks fun! Gg! :)

Commenting for the algorithm juice but ill check this out after Ive tried out the dungeon solo on normal myself!
they are both very fun imo!
