At this point, Robert just comes across as an attention whore who is in no way worthy of Aaron's love.

The first time it is mentioned is when Robert lashed out when Aaron brought him to the gay bar. He says something snide about whether he got the injuries in "an unfortunate yachting accident"
he did not murder anyone it was an accident and victoria is extremely annoying thats her brothers life she is interfering with because she is obsessed with babies
