The Quick Share by Google was previously called Nearby Share. It is used to transfer files from Android phones to Windows PC and vice versa.

FOR THOSE who are ate unable to see the application (quick share) on their start menu or anywhere else even after successfully installing, i suggest you ti go through :- D drive and find quick share folder where application is being installed then right click on that and it will open, and from now further you will he able to find it on start menu or kn search bar easily. (If not then just create shortcut or pin ro taskbar or anything you like) ,
So why this happening? :- I think it is compatibility issue with windows 11. Windows somehow not detecting "QUICK SHARE" as an app , that's why we can't able to find in search bar. But after opening for first time it start to appear. This is because quick share is still made by Android Google so , ok think thus bug will be gone in future if we enough people report about this

Quickshare was installed on my PC but it is asking for a wifi driver that has failed to install on my PC, is there a way to walk around this? I have tried to install the driver on my PC but the intel installer is not coming up, I can't even click 'next'.

It says "Installation Complete" and just has a CLOSE button on the bottom right. Click on that and then nothing. App is nowhere to be found on PC.

Hi,
I suggest you restart your computer after installation and try sending something. When you right-click on an image for example, check if you'll see the option for Quick share.
If you do then it instantly correctly.

I clicked the link and downloaded it, but it's not showing as a downloaded program on my laptop. It's just saying installation complete but nothing else.

Yes. The rule is "For Windows computers running a 64-bit version of Windows 10 and up". Only ARM computers are not allowed

“Quick Share” is not made by Google. Is made by Samsung. Google has their own share option formerly called “Nearby Share” is now part of Quick Share.

This is an exe file not an APK file. The software is to be installed on a Windows PC, not phone. If your phone supports nearby share (now called Quickshare) then you can use it to send and receive files from your laptop/desktop PC. No additional installation is required for phone

Restart bother laptop and phone.
Connect both to same WiFi and try again

You are seriously the best 💜💜 en_ie is Irish English, but I realise it works with other languages as well, even UK or any other English. It just doesn't work with the default language. So strange!

Regarding the language issue, where exactly are you experiencing this? Have you been able to install the software and transfer files?

Basically the language issue is what you were facing in this video. EN stands for English and IE stands for Ireland, so when you added "intl/en_ie", to the URL, you were just changing the language of the site to Irish English.
