First turn, you could set dust tornado only to protect yourself from heavy and then at end phase, activate dust and use its second effect to set the robbin goblin.
Fun video! Robbin Goblin may be a win-more card in circumstances, but I think Mataza makes it much more practical and suffocating. Losing one card in hand to Goblin sucks but is recoverable - losing two is a nigjtmare that suddenly makes a comeback way less likely.
I know it's never really considered but lightforce sword is a hell of a good card for hand control. I'd even consider teching in some tomatoes for this deck
Honestly surprised robbin goblin didn't see more play. It's a powerful effect on one proc and then it's continuous. Is it because it's too win more and heavy storm is legal? edit: also opponent can play around it by setting their whole hand sometimes?
Yeah i've been thinking the same on several cards in the format. They seem to be really good cards, but they are only great when you have board control and/or winning, they rarely work as a comeback card, like a premature or snatch steal for example which are great in any situation. And in a simplified game state, they become a dead draw really easy.
Yeah, it can be a bit win more, has to be on the field for a turn, doing nothing, requires some help (maybe need removal for opponents monsters, etc), is a TERRIBLE top deck late game, whole bunch of problems. When it works out early, though, oh man.
I think the last opponent would not have activated judgment on the normal summon without revealing united we stand. Probably an illegal play, but one that DB users frequently try to cheese out. Luckily ur judge made it not matter
but Kuhb was playing tiny bit fast and didn't ask for response so maybe sharky but kinda on Kuhb but also he was probably rushing because it didn't matter.
@@americantimemachine7128 yeah, i would normally ask for a response before playing the united we stand, but knew i had a judgment for any reaponse the opponent may have had, so i played it a bit fast just to speed it up.
Dude felt like the King of Games trading his serp for a BLS until that serp whooped his ass 🤣
this was one big bang shot away from peak

That's a good point. Appreciate you pointing out the small things like that. Can really give some big edges in some games.
Activating robbin' goblin when you already had lethal is the kind of BM I'm here for
Gotta send a message
Glad you liked the deck! You play it better than me for sure! It’s still a work in progress but it does the right stuff sometimes !
always love a sweet deck with mataza and robbin' goblin! thanks for shooting me the list.
Mataza is such a neat card. I like it more and more whenever I see it even though it never works when i put it in my decks 😂
feel like robbin goblin is definitely under utilized! Love this deck

Cool deck!

This is awsome

oh, i love me some lightforce sword.
Been playing similar deck except mind control instead of noc and Don zaloog in place of mirage dragon. Although that might be wrong
I think mirage dragon's effect meshes really well with the deck, but so does Donald, so understandable, for sure.
