So I've been listening to this since the year it came out pretty much, and I've always found both the arrangement and playing to be absolutely perfect. I even have this downloaded on my phone along with my other (mostly) anime piano songs. What really surprised me, though, is that Animenz played his own version a few years ago at a concert (the video was from 2020), and it was so different, it even sounded like he hadn't listened to the song properly. Like, the bridge before the chorus, where the melody is in the bass, the melody was just completely wrong from how the original sounded. And I know that Animenz loves this song too much for him to not know how it sounds, it's probably that he wanted to make it distinctly different and generally throughout the arrangement he has taken a lot more creative freedom. But I mostly wanted to write this comment in the hopes that James Chou sees this and I can let him know that the reason why Animenz played like that was probably because you already made such a perfect arrangement. I do a lot of arranging myself, since I am a composer, but I don't think I'll be able to make an arrangement like this in a long long time. Really well done! and I will keep listening to your music for the years to come. Cheers :)

I click on the link and want to download the music to print it out, but there is no "Print" button, so what do I do? Do I just play it from my device and try to learn it from there, or is there a print button someplace there because the "download or save" button doesn't do anything. Help?
This is a phenomenal arrangement played equally as impressively! How do you go about writing your arrangements? Do you sit at the piano and try to work the ideas out fully or just input notes in a software first and then refine things later as you listen back to the track? I'm trying to make arrangements of my own, but the biggest problem I have is that I just forget all the ideas in my mind before I'm able to put them all down on paper/in the software (I'm not good enough at the piano to just play out all my ideas and record myself haha). As a result, I end up with a bunch of sections a couple of measures long that sound good but then they just abruptly run out of steam :(
for me it's even worse, I'm not even at the point yet where I can play the ideas I have in my mind kek I guess it's easier to just write it into software first to see what it sounds like and then practice it ... but then again, I only made 1 arrangement so far so I am no expert by any stretch of the imagination and I haven't really found a workflow that suits me. I am definitely interested to hear how others go about it as well :3
