- This week we found another new place to mudlark! It is on a map that Sarah from the Manchester Mudlarks kindly gave us. We have been visiting spots on the map for a long time now and this is only the fourth time we have found the remnants of a dump with any potential! So join us as we sludge around in the mud finding treasure (well it is treasure to us haha)

Hi from down south west Gloucestershire, I have no idea if you will see this comment, but without writing a book, I’m bedridden, and my husband decided he was just going to up and leave me back in February 2022, it coursed me to fall into a tailspin, I’ve been trying to get care sorted out, and deal with the divorce as well as put up with 22 hour long days of being alone. I found your channel after watching Nicola white one evening and I’m hooked. It’s got me through some tough times, the serenity and the thrill of the finds is all up my street, I’m an avid crafter and so enjoy everything you ladies put out on video. I have to thank you for being my peace in an otherwise stormy time in my life. I hope you go onto make many many more videos, I will always be here watching (not in a creepy way😂) just thank you for the beautiful distraction, hold onto one another and love your family time, nothing last forever but these times will always spark joy in your hearts ♥️ god bless you both X

Hi you lovely ladies, to think from odd legs, arms, a head, materials and your wonder imagination you have produced a beautiful nurse doll. You are truly talented. You both would have done a fantastic job of making much needed dolls for children during WW2 from bits and pieces. Tell you kitty thank you for me. We just lost our beloved kitty 2 weeks ago and I have been so saddened by how lonely and quiet it has been here. Hearing your kitty purr made me smile and relax. Okay, and it made me cry a little too. I haven't heard a cat purr since our sweet boy passed. Thank you sweet kitty!

Every time I see you two find a doll's limb, I'm reminded of a 1970's US show called the Bionic Man. It starts with pictures of a horrific accident and then a monolog starts...."We can rebuild him. We have the technology...." You two bring back dolls, youthful memories of yesteryear....that's power Ladies. Your new place is great! Thank you for taking us with you. I'm sure you've already thought of this Kate but I think you can make your little Welsh ladies head into a workable dolls head. If you take a bit of stiff wire and bend it into a U, like a shank, and then glue it into the neck of the head. Make it long enough so that you can build up a Milliput neck onto it and still have the U end at the bottom to sew into a dolls body to secure it. With a bit of a wire crossbar afixed to the shank you could even sculpt shoulders for the little thing.

the purrrfect production by sunny cat yet again in the making of nurse Lark i have to tell you my wife adores antics of sunny and is now a fan kit and caboodlers she calls it cat & caboodlers keep on having fun loved all the finds i think you all must eat a lot of carrots or have been trained by hawks to see the finds and find them till the next time good hunting and have fun :-)

You found some wonderful treasures! I love Nurse Lark, she is an absolute triumph. It may be my warped sense of humour but I do love the thought that someone within earshot, but out of view, hears a cry of "I've found an arm!" and promptly jumps out of their skin!

I love many things about this video...the cat of course is said to be a good judge of character it definitely wanted you to know how much it loves you🥰 I would love to have that large wooden spool 🧵 that is awesome!!! But mostly how one starts the nurse doll and one finishes it...it made me cry my momma passed away last year I miss her very much. Thank you ladies for sharing your beautiful life with me ❤️

Yay! For the first time, I felt like this was pretty close to 'home', close to what I experience here. MUD. And the constant possibility of losing a boot (the seaweed helps if you stand on it). The only major difference was that here, it's all much more like the beginning of the video- with lots and lots of broken things all coated in muck. I feel lucky if I find just one interesting/whole piece on a lark! And I always come home with 'interesting' shards of glass and pottery. Lord only knows what I'll do with it all LOL. Thanks, as always, for taking us along- and showing us that marvelous Nurse Doll build! Just wonderful ; ) Cheers from Maine!

My 3 cats would have knocked over the superglue bottle or grabbed the applicator brush. They also would have bumped either my hand or my arm while painting the red crozses. Your cat is very patient!Too cute!!

Dear Ladies, you just added a new death defying aspect to your prospecting… being sucked into vile grey green sticky viscous mud. Watched by a bumper swarming of vibrant dragonflies. Excited about the doll hospital ; yes I am .As a retired nurse , I loved her wee improvised scissors heehee brilliant .She needs a wee watch . Noticed your watch on your waistcoat ; I always used to wear pocket watches too .. Tiny watch face for tiny doll needed . Sunny is awesome with his big paws and slavery kisses ; he loves ya big stylee . Anyways lets pray for a big storm to wash all that mud and algae away so you can see better ; . Lovely banner and congrats on the subscriber milestone .
We are desperate for a big storm to wash out all our spots, it is surprising how much difference it can make :) :)

This was a great place for you both. Nurse Lark is lovely -- her face makes me smile. Your jar of body parts is a bit macabre though. Always love sharing your larks and Sunny's cameos.
