SCARY REALISTIC Henry Cavill SUPERMAN Life-Size Bust | Infinity Studio

Today thanks to Ben from Little Aussie Collector we review the Henry Cavill Life-Size Justice League Superman Bust from Infinity Studios. Sideshow and Infinity Studio present this Superman life-size bust, authorized by Warner Bros., and designed and made by Infinity Studio. Modeled based on the most classic scene where he changes from reporter to Superman. The statue is 88cm high, with the head and arm skin all made in medical-grade platinum silicone. Featuring hairs and mustache punched with artificial hair. Almost 100,000 hairs, were punched manually one by one. The eyes are customized blue ocular prosthesis and faithfully represent the Justice League superhero.

Totally agree with you the face is not 100-percent quite there. The hair needs some work and torso looks well done. the sew and cut looks pretty amazing. Only issue is some of the line work around the base is very rough. Especially the silver lines.
The suit is incredible
What an impressive piece! The likeness is about 85%, but the overall quality of the piece is so incredible that trumps everything!
I had the pleasure I've seeing this amazing piece at Supanova in Brisbane Australia in 2019. Infinity Studios done a awesome job with the likeness! I also saw the Batfleck bust you had Chris.

Of all the infinity studios statues ones I felt were spot on were the dark knight Catwoman and maybe Harley Quinn

It's so amazing! As tempting as it is (my wallet can't take it lol) I'm still waiting for a Henry Supes statue that blows me away. I've pre-ordered the Christopher Reeve Superman and would like to have a Cavill to place next to it along with the others.

Incredible, almost to the point of being in the uncanny valley!
Looks amazing, but it would be interesting to make the skin "translucent", it looks a little tiny bit flat and "one-note", maybe that's different in person though. And like you said, I'd probably want to slightly darken and mess up the hair just a tad. Then I think it would sing.
I think the sculpt is really really close as seen on the website pictures. To me the face looks too soft and doughy in this one because the 5 o’clock shadow isn’t as dark or as good as the prototype.
I'm waiting on mine to arrive! I'd say 90%. I think more so at different angles. Excited to get it. It's just taking for ever.

This is a better likeness to Henry Cavill than the Joss Whedon cut of The Justice League, was to Henry Cavill, and that movie STARRED HENRY CAVILL! What a difference NOT having a poorly CG deleted mustache can make! 😉

I’m a huge Superman fan and I collect as many as I can, but Cavill is not my favorite Superman. This statue looks okay but it doesn’t look 100% to me
i wonder if the real Henry Cavill would be flattered or weirded out by this

Sorry but it does not look like Henry Cavill, not even by a long shot. Looks like they pulled a bait and switch from the prototype. For a dollar amount of over $3000 I would demand that the likeness be at least 95%. Just my opinion.
From some angles the likeness is there but overall it misses the mark.

To me just see it here and not in person It's looks about 85 -90% accurate to Henry Cavill. I wanted to pull the trigger so many times since it went up for pre-order but just couldn't commit to $3000+ , especially not seeing the exact one I would be getting in person. I still may get one if I can find a deal on one that somebody decides not to keep it.

I got a custom bust that was less than half the price and has a solid likeness. Of course it doesn’t have the arms. I’d like to say this thing is overpriced, but I’m also thinking about getting the $4K XM Optimus bust, ha ha.
Again artificial hair is just not doing it for me for $4000 he shouldn’t look like he’s wearing a bad wig ….. Superman suit looks really good but the coat is wrinkled maybe that’ll iron out in time but I really can’t get past that hairdo 🤦🏼♂️

Not for me. Not 100% likeness and if I'm paying that kind of money, it is has to be closer in likeness.
Amazing work, but the portrait is off. For the price, the portrait needs to be spot on in my opinion.

The likeness to the actor is not there but it is not bad for a superman. The piece is phenomenal with the silicon and mixed media. It would have been great if it had some glasses in one of his hands. For what you are getting, I can understand why it is going for that price.I think this is a great looking sculpt and would love to have it but unfortunately the price is too high.
I always wonder why Superman worked he could go deep sea diving pull out say five billion in lost gold, his eye could see deep down and he can hold him breath .. Dude, it's awesome, but it's a version of Superman, "Snyder's Superman" that is written as a HORRIBLE character. I love Henry Cavill as Superman, but I hate the character he portrays. Looks beautiful, but it's THAT version of Superman which tarnishes it.
