Hello! As per the latest update, dependent children of New Zealand permanent residents or resident visa holders from anywhere in the world can enter New Zealand from 13 March. Hello Sir Happy New Year to you and all the ajv fam. I am one of your AJV student who came to nz in 2018 on a student visa. Currently I am holding PSWV expiring on 31 Aug 2022 my concern is about an entry to NZ back because last year on April 10th 2021 I came to india on an emergency as my father was hospitalised situation was critical where I had to be with my family. So I resigned full time permanent role and within three months of my arrival to india. Things started to be normal with my dad’s health. I already applied for a border exemption last year through Ajv but got declined. Please provide me your thoughts on my entry to NZ and pursue my career again in NZ. I am a bit worried about my visa period which is coming closer

Hello I’m Johnathan I’ve gotten a conditional letter from AUT in bachelors of computer science and would like to know if I could work part time during my study in the same industry as my course cuz a few of my friend from New Zealand were saying that getting a part time job in the same field while studying is going to be hard because cuz they only look for full time.
What would be ur thoughts on this?
Hello Johnathan! International students on a student visa are allowed to work part-time up to 20 hours a week during classes and full-time on scheduled holidays. Finding a job greatly depends upon the job availability then and the individual as well. There are many job portals like Seek, Indeed, etc. where part-time jobs are listed. Your student support centre at AUT and your faculty can also assist you.
