Your closing card went haywire! For one second, it went the way it always went with the new Disney Plus opening score and the names and word scrolling up on one side and, then, it became silent plain turquoise background.

Dave Lee Down Under just released a video saying there’s going to be even more Pixar sequels! Obviously we already know about finding nemo 3 and incredibles 3, but now a proper sequel to monsters inc unlike monsters university. Something tells me we won’t get a 3rd season of monsters at work for some reason. We’ll have to wait and see.

You know Roger, I really have to say too and I can’t express it enough. But before I saw inside out 2 last week, I had little to no expectations for it despite how much I enjoyed the movie. Mainly because of Pixar’s recent track efforts and their mediocre efforts too, but I was completely surprised! I don’t regret watching it at all but I’ll probably wait for it to come to Disney+ before watching it again I think. Trust me Roger, you won’t be disappointed.

But really in my head I do consider 2020 to 2023 to be Pixar’s sake or in this case streaming era for the most part. It has 6 movies: onward, soul, Luca, turning red, lightyear and elemental. Trust me, none of these are bad movies by any means but compared to the movies they made from 1995 to 2010, even from 2011 to 2019 for the most part, were way better and much more enjoyable too. Like none of these movies ever felt like Pixar to me and feel like they were made by a different studio. Especially lightyear was more so fan-fiction than anything. Turning Red was easily the best movies of these 6 but that’s still not saying much. I’m still very cautious of Elio next year since it’s changed directors and should’ve already come out back in March but hopefully it’ll be better than the aforementioned movies in that category. What do you think overall, Roger?
