I’ve got a 2006 5.7L limited with a navigation system it had moveable side view mirrors but one got knocked of by a trash can so I just replaced them both, it’s silver/tan ish and chrome rims with a black grille because I was in a car incident and couldn’t find a chrome grille to replace it but it still runs like a dream
The performance specs for the 2006 WK body style Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine is actually 330 horsepower and 360 pound feet of torque. This Jeep looks good. I have the same one. Only difference is the color. Mine is blue. The back up parking sensors are good. They definitely help out when parking into tight areas.
@@H1storybr3akdown According to Google the 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee with the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 came with 330 HP. However, for the 2009 and 2010 model years the 5.7 liter HEMI V8 engine was updated which increased the HP to 357. Generally speaking, some auto manufacturers do a slight increase in horsepower to an engine or engines during the same generation of whatever vehicle it is. So, for the third generation Jeep Grand Cherokee the model years are from 2005 to 2010 and the 2009 and 2010 model years have a slight difference in performance than the previous three model years. So, just like how there's a mid cycle refresh for exterior designs there's a mid performance refresh as well. OBTW, what's your thoughts on the upcoming new generation 5th generation Jeep Grand Cherokee L?
@@jefferybaxter1225 in my opinion I hate the exterior design. They’re trying to be more luxurious I guess but it just looks like a wanna be Escalade / Navigator... the interior is nice though and I like that they are giving it a 5.7 Hemi Option. I just feel as if people who buy Jeeps didn’t buy them to look luxurious, you know?
Does yours make a big clunk noise when going from parking to neutral to drive and does it make a clunking sound when going downhill as metal hitting metal? O.o
ive had a 96 laredo and 2000 limited, been thinking about getting one from the 05-10 generation, but man ive had very bad experiences with my jeeps. its a Chrysler thing i guess. they are nice but not much reliable, i think ill pass
It's just too bad everything in these Jeeps weren't great except for the HEMI... cheap interior plastics, hard seats, failing nav systems (excellent stereo though!), and problems with the engine, noisy transmission... etc. We have an '05 we bought brand new and now it has 212k and it's having major problems (nav radio is broken, speedometer isn't working, keyfobs no longer work, has a BCM and ECU problem, ABS and 4X4 don't work)... it's a shame. :(
i like the body style of these jeeps. i was thinking of getting one but i hate the look of the 2019 jeeps.
Right. I love how they got such a menacing boxy design for the WK but instantly went back to that curvy shape when the WK2 rolled out

In terms of lenght, what’s the available space behind the driver/passenger seat at the back, once the backseats are dropped down? :)

Why does it have less hp then the 2008-2010 Jeep GC with the same engine?
@@H1storybr3akdown How much less is the horsepower?
@@jefferybaxter1225 like 15-20 torque seems the same

One question, what was the price of this vehicle, if you may know?
Can this car beat like a 350z ?
Can’t beat the hemi motor, it’s a powerhouse but not cheap to run.
I have the same Jeep interior is better but I love it I've had it for 7 years now

Well when you get 200 thousand out of a car I think it's served its owner well at that point
We had problems at 20k...
+Vincent D what happend to ur 4x4 lol?
It just stopped working... the 2005-2010 WK's are trash... don't buy one.
i LOVE MY 06 140K MILES
No aux?
Mines has aux and Bluetooth
The chrome accent on the grille is the worst thing ever on the WK.
Land cruiser is better
